For a 28 year-old, this guy has seen some sh#t. Good stuff that resonates with this old guy.
Something my 15 yo daughter intro'd to me last year and then we saw him at The Hollywood Bowl last summer. He's unbelievably popular and quite the performer. I'm glad to have landed on this one with her.
Yay!!  More Noah please.
Takes waaaay to long to develop.  Bailed out of course.
This is a very nice tune
Yes!
Thank you William, Alana and the whole crew for presenting such a gem for our perusal.

Great album cover.

Life is so much better with you at the musical helm. Live long and prosper.

OK, I had to hear it again, so I went to YouTube and found this "extended" version, which I think is even better. An extra verse and a rockin' ending.
Thanks once again to RP, for introducing me to these hidden gems which I would probably not have found otherwise.

The extended version adds something that sounds like interviews of longtime residents of his hometown. Then these lyrics:
The things that I lost here
The people I knew
They got me surrounded
For a mile or two

A left at the graveyard
I’m driving past ghosts
Their arms are extended
My eyes start to close

The car’s in reverse
I’m gripping the wheel
I’m back between villages
And everything’s still
Nice tune.
Wow, first time hearing this.
Magnificent Melancholy. Love it.

Humble, grateful, artist on an amazing trajectory. Glad to have been listening to this songwriters journey!
Just the pups on the cover make me want to like him. Who's a good boy?
How great to discover Noah Kahan.
Its Flannel season.
brain fried from inventory at work, but his voice at the beginning seems familiar in a Brit band style for some reason. Someone a bit more upbeat, though.
