Sex symbol, the Black Seminole
A sex symbol, the Black Seminole
African Rambo with more ammo
Can't be escaped, I'm on every channel
What's wrong? What's wrong, Mr. Man?
Your eyes are low
And you're walking with both hands on your head
His response, he's on a clean, clean high
Both feet up on the ground
But his head's way, way, way in the sky
The Black Seminole, a head general
This deep connection, a large interval
A black man with mouths to feed
Embracing equality throughout greed
No time to joke around, the kid is now a man
And the sadness is filled with remarkable sounds
This part I've seen in my dreams
Love is not a lie, it just feels like a Tarantino movie scene
Now
Ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh
Mm-mm-mmm, ooh
Ah-ha, aaah, yeah-hey, yeah

surprised and delighted. nicely done young man. very nice.
Nice people, nice song - but autotune isn't my kind!
Ok, got my attention.
Feels like a 7 to me on first hearing...

A good song, but what a pity about the voice effect.
Too much auto-tune. Guitar on this is
I'm not a fan of vocoder vocals - they can stray too close to self parody. I'm not convinced that this track avoids the trap. I quite like it, but I think I'd like it more without distorted vocals

Agreed, and this fits the RP vibe. I'm impressed... though if Migos or Future pops up next someone should probably check on Bill.
Lil Yachty on RP? Kinda crazy, I was very surprised to hear him on here. But it's pretty good anyway.

Not really the place for hip hop or rap imo… there are enough places with that around.
The phrase 'not really the place' is surely exactly the opposite for what RP stands for. I come here to hear a wide diversity of music and I hope the playlists remain that way. As for the tracks that remain in rotation, that's more dictated by listener ratings I think.

Finally RP really beginning to diversify! Yes! Let’s get some hip hop or rap in here!

First time listening to this band. It’s alright and agree with comments similarl Oink Floyd sounds.

RP has introduced yours truly to musicians, languages and musical approaches from around the world. Cool to hear this track here. Kinda' goes with what they've been doing for as long as I've been listening.

I agree with the comment on the wierd mechanical voice contraption. Don't know what that thing is, but for me it really detracted from an otherwise cool tune.
I don't know what to think about this song. I really dislike the use of auto-tune or vocoder, but I stay to listen all of it, and kinda like it... 5 or 6 to start !
What is sure, it was surprising

The AI generated album art is brilliantly un-nerving.
Pretty cool and it breaks from the expected RP line up — a nice surprise. Let’s hear some more!
This is way, way above average.
Sounds very much like Pink Floyd at times. I kind of like it.

Surprised to hear him on RP. It's not that terrible, all things considered...
Not bad, but why that voice effect? Can't see what it adds to the tune.
Might try to hear what it adds to it instead but would fail too.

Hmmm... nope

Kinda dreamy, kinda drifty...kinda forgettable. I mean, is anyone tapping their toe to this one? Nodding and saying, "ooh, I like this part especially"? I kept waiting for a reason to like it, and couldn't find one anywhere. I guess I don't hate it, but I have to wonder what made Lil Yachty decide that this was a good take. 3 maybe?
Wow! Me gusto.
I see the Floyd references (influences?)
The lead guitar is very Gilmour-esque. Keys sound a little Rick Wright meets Steve Miller.
I'll wait for a few more listens to rate.
