Stop, you're both right!

I just really like the beat and especially the "who wee" accents, I always stop and listen to this one and sometimes even do my own little dance.
She makes me jump up and down and that's not all!
Here's a great Beatbox cover!

I cannot disagree more, being seven decades old, RP covers not only the racial spectrum, but music through the ages; classical to classic rock to modern, and quite a spattering of international variety as well. With no commercial interruptions. If it is boring, hit the 'Next Song!' I've been listening to internet radio feeds since the mid '90s, nothing compares to RP's variety and flavor. BTW, I'm a musician, have been for 58 years, this is simply my opinion. I agree with you about the Makeba tune though, mediocre and off center of the genre a bit; a bit too trendy & common.

And the Global Mix channel has a very diverse lineup IMHO
Its no the rythm that makes this song great
Its jain's life and

Love me some Ooohe
Hey it's the song from all those meme videos :')
It's a killer song for spinning class.
I liked this song at first... but now it feels like a production trick, a jingle, an annoying earworm.

SKIP
I like it but I dont want to
Cool/fun video for this song:

Jain-Makeba
Fun song. Makes my daughter dance, and me wish I could. 😜
The ability to enjoy this without worrying about overexposure is one of the many benefits of spending my time here on RP, as opposed to Instagram.

My dogs love this song.  One sang along the first time she heard it.  The other guy learned from her.
Oh! c'mon - she having fun! Remember curmugeons?
This song has a great hook. Probably that's why a prime candidate for the Instagram reels. If you dont pick in few couple of seconds people are going to scroll away. Considering that aim, the song has delivered. But as a entire song listen, the song did not work for me. It is too repetitive and plain.  Frankly this is the first time I heard it completely, it was only insta reels before it. But Kudos to RP to keep connected with the mainstream pop culture. It kinda offers a palette cleanser. :)
Downvoting because it's becoming too often heard (instagram for instance).  Just like the Beatles/Journey/Michael Jackson, I'm hearing it too often.  Nothing to do with talent, creativity or anything else - I just like an eclectic mix without hearing the same song repeated over and over -  which is why I listen to RP.
I loved this song on first hearing (on RP, of course).  I heard it again and started watching her videos.  I hear it again on RP and my heart skips -- turn it up!  Is it possible that Jain is one of my new favorites?  She's a latter-day pop artist, right? She ought to be in the same category as Cyndi Lauper in the 80s or Mariah Carey in the 90s. But I do not hear them on RP, and that, my friends, is the acid test.  Thank you for Jain, and LLRP!
Now that TikTok reference no doubt explains my observation of a very happy group youngsters on a coastal hill near Durdle Door. I  tested  my downhill hiking balance by briefly! joining in  their frenetic dancing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wik... eek hope I'm not on Tik Tok
Gotta' say this really has grown on me - catchy little tune.
Haven’t seen the TikTok but thanks to RP, I have discovered this awesome music.

Get real, man. People have stolen tunes from other people since the beginning of time.  This is a catchy, fun song to listen to while I'm working, hard stop.
Love this!!!

Nice song, but there's a lot of rhythmic dance music like this out there by people of other complexions that is a lot better.  I love, listen to on the daily, and support this station, but for me its biggest deficiency is lack of music across the racial and ethnic spectrum.

It's been three years, and I hope you've continued to listen.  RP offers a wide spectrum of music -- from different colors, cultures, nations, and historical periods.  If you're still unsatisfied here, try the Global/World Music  stream.

While there are certainly some gaps in the broad span of genres that could be presented on Radio Paradise, I would have to think that they are mainly a matter of stylistic choice and not at all a matter of ethnic or racial exclusion. There is a ton of blues on here by people other than SRV & Johnny Winter; there is plenty of Soul music by people other than Joe Cocker  & Steve Winwood; big band, jazz, R&B, etc. are fairly well represented across the spectrum, plus the multitude of offerings directly from Africa.

Would I like to see more high-quality, more modern R&B? Yes; my personal knowledge is limited, but I'm sure William & Alanna can curate some gems. Rap? Definitely. Metal? Sure. I don't know if I myself would want to gather in stuff like Pop Country or K-Pop or House Music, but there are talented artists releasing well-crafted songs of all types and those of us that tune in for the eclectic nature of this station should welcome the opportunity to broaden our horizons.

You're probably right that there are other artists performing rhythmic dance music that is even better than this, but Jain's songs are certainly worthy and she is not being featured on here as a slight to black musicians.

Suddenly it hits me: this is an 8!

You can't be serious.

Not a fan of this with the constant whooping sound, but her other song "Come" is pretty good stuff.

While I agree that the original comment was along the lines of "brainless bs" I've gotta call out the misogynistic bs from your comment. A simple look at the OP's profile will indicate their bathroom preference is men's, so you could have opted for a more masculine insult instead of falling on the crutch of the more feminine "stupid bitch" insult.
Excellent!!
This song is a tad bit sexy…
not reading other comments because they are a hot mess… I love this tune.

A song from mental hospital. :)
That's odd.  My shoulder is moving in time to the rhythm.  I hope it's nothing serious. Oh no.  It's stopped now.  Thanks RP.
Never heard of her, so I checked her out. Turns out  she's a very talented and great performer.

Thank you RP for broadening my musical spectrum. Again.

Disagree.  I don't pay attention to the race of the performers, since I would need to look at the description each time.  Tho I will say I hear enough blues here to satisfy me.  But I hear a fair share of ethnic music, including African, Eastern European, Western Europe, Russian, and South American.  No, I disagree.

She's French. Perhaps take a lesson from her countrymen and enjoy l'art pour l'art.

I'm just a White Dude, learning as fast as I can. And RP has helped me, immensely. As Google is to research, and Word is to spellcheck, RP is to turning my soul a different color. LOOK! I don't have time for EVERYTHING. But instead of a complaint, how about a suggestion? What can you bring to these comments sections, people?

Whatever the genre is, this is off-center of it AND too trendy/common?

Why don't you just say you don't like it and leave out the nonsense? It's perfectly okay to not like it.
