Me da fiebre
Me hago fuego y me vuelvo a consumir

Dame solo un beso que me alcance hasta morir
Como un vicio que me duele
Quiero mirarte a los ojos

Luna
No me abandones más
Que tiendo a recuperarme
En la cuna de tus cráteres
Silencio
Se abre la tierra
Y se alzan los mares
Al compás del volcán.

Y cuando te me acercas
Se acelera mi motor
Me das fiebre
Me hago fuego y me vuelvo a consumir

Dame solo un beso que me alcance hasta morir
Como un vicio que me duele
Quiero mirarte a los ojos

Luna
No me abandones más
Que tiendo a recuperarme
En la cuna de tus cráteres
Silencio
Se abre la tierra
Y se alzan los mares
Al compás del volcán.

I am wondering a bit why you didn't expect this song to be played by RP. Bill plays all kinds of good music and RP is full of surprises. That's why I am here. LLRP

Beatiful song. I don't think it's "corny". Being a Spanish speaker, I can tell you, this is elegant poetry compared to the f*g reguetones we hear all day in our local radios... I wish there were a Latin Radio Paradise!!

I don't speak spanish, but every time i hear this song, my eyes start to tear.
this is nice peppy song

Agreed,

For Spanish non-speakers, here is (what I believe,) a more proper translation of that poetry:

Moon
Don't leave me anymore
Because I lay to recover
In the cradle of your craters
Silence

I'd translate que tiendo a recuperarme en la cuna de tus cráteres as I'm inclined to recover in the cradle of your craters. But then, que tiendo a ser pedante (I tend to be pedantic).

Wistful, elegant, enchanting
this is kind of trippy, ain't it?
Absolute Perfection!  This is why I love Radio Paradise!

A song best described with one word: beautiful.
Well, that got me in a better mood.

Agreed,

For Spanish non-speakers, here is (what I believe,) a more proper translation of that poetry:

I understand that I cannot beg you once again
But nothing stops
I only live for you
Give me just a kiss that will last me until I die
Like a vice that hurts me
I want to look you in the eyes

And when you approach me
My engine accelerates
It gives me fever
I become fire and consume myself again

Give me just a kiss that reaches me until I die
Like a vice that hurts me
I want to look you in the eyes

Moon
Don't leave me anymore
Because I lay to recover
In the cradle of your craters
Silence
The earth opens
And the seas rise
To the beat of the volcano.

And when you approach me
My engine accelerates
You give me fever
I become fire and consume myself again

Give me just a kiss that reaches me until I die
Like a vice that hurts me
I want to look you in the eyes

Moon
Don't leave me anymore
Because I lay to recover
In the cradle of your craters
Silence
The earth opens
And the seas rise
To the beat of the volcano.
Simply lovely.

'Latin' radio paradise? u mean a radio streaming French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian & Spanish songs?. That's the term to be used if you refer to the Latin language world. Unless you only refer to Spanish content? . Nice song and by the way, which radios do you refer to when you say 'our' radios? the radios I listen in Spanish don't stream reggeaton ))
Good Tune! I never heard of them before.  Thank You RP!

Emoción

some days it is wonderful to listen to tunes that have lyrics in other languages and simply focus on the music, with the vocals as background instruments. love the cello
Also on their Reptilectric album.

Wonderful song! Such a lovely voice, and the soothing yet invigorating music suits it very well indeed. I love this. Thanks, RP!
mmmm, waltzing to the moon! i love this one!
Love this!
This song is lovely.
Need to learn enough Spanish to understand the lyrics, without the translation.
RP have a playlist with some songs who play too much frequently like this one
@BillG ... it refers to this wiki entry...
And the music is just nice
Shouldn't the Artist show 'Zoe featuring Denise Gutiérrez?' Seems a shame not to give her a mention for the beautiful lead vocal.

*edit - I see it's been updated. Thanks. She deserves it.
My favorite Latin song and album in the last ten years. For anyone interested in hearing more, I'd recommend 'Labios Rotos', 'Soñé' and 'Sombras'.

The beautiful voice in Luna is from Denise Gutiérrez, a guest for the MTV Unplugged recording. She is the lead singer of a Mexican band named 'Hello Seahorse!'. 'No Es Que No Te Quiera' is the band's best known song.
The singer, Denise Gutierrez, reminds me visually of one of my all-time crushes, Lisa Loeb (the glasses really sell the look).
Merci. ça pourrait être le dernier jour de ta vie
For those that require English.  (Gracias, Google Translate!)

I understand that I cannot beg you once again

Give me just a kiss that reaches me until I die
Like a vise that hurts
I want to look you in the eyes

It gives me fever
I burn myself and consume myself again

Give me just a kiss that reaches me until I die

I want to look you in the eyes

Sadly, but some people are just not interested nor intrigued by other languages or cultures.

I get that you and Blue-Ice don't like it and that is just fine. Rate it accordingly. My issue with Blue-Ice's comment was claiming to not understand why "anyone would voluntary listen to" this. There are plenty of comments that (if even necessary) explain why. Frankly, if B & R like it, then it has made the cut. End of story.
Wow, this song fits in so well with what has been a tremendous few hours of music on RP.

What is the rest of the album like?
I have this rated 9.

I note with much appreciation that the DJ plays Luna by Zoé 4 times in the last 30 days.

Buenisimo.

I find my self in a soap opera, and glad I don't understand the language. I don't see the reason for this type of over-the-top melodramatic genre. Could someone explain how this is something anyone would voluntarily listen to? I'm serious. Really. Why is it being played on RP? There are 1,000 internet stations that play musically flat offerings. Why here. Again, I'm serious , what is the attraction to this?

Only if that's what's required to drive home the point that your opinion is not universal.  It doesn't even appear to be common, based on the average rating for this.
The video is fun:

It is all in our heads.  I agree that it is elegant.

There is all kinds of wonderful music from Brazil and El cono sur that would fit really well on Radio Paradise.  Moreover, I reckon the DJ is open to new material be it Sui Generis or Jazz-Tango-Rock fusion or whatever.

So suggest away.  Por favorcito.

I would agree.   Clumsy in an appealing way though.  Spanish is a 3rd language for me.

Don't understand a word of it but I like it...{#Guitarist}
Have to credit the DJ.  The song only has a 7 rating but has been played 6 times in the past month.

I just shifted my rating to 9 from 8 so clearly I am partial.

Live?    Que te parece.....

Tiendo a recuperarme en uno de sus cráteres!!
The poetics of this lyrics is so absolutely unique and beautiful!
