In my teens I crashed many a night in New Cross after pub crawls, reggae nights along with other miscreants, most of whom were black, reflecting the general population of the area.
No matter the skin colour, we all shared hairy headaches on Saturday/Sunday mornings.

Who would have ever guessed this was a young white British dude! I was envisioning a seasoned/old blues guy!

Agreed - and thanks for the reminder, BillG!
I think society gets too caught up on simple words/phrases without examining the intent.
On a similar note, as far as PC goes, one of my pet peeves is the use of the term "African-American" or even worse "Afro-American." My dad was born and raised in Africa before my family moved to Seattle in 1962. My family from Egypt, a nation in AFRICA, does that make us African-American? I think not!
Wish there were more folks with that point of view!! Very well spoken, Sir.

What guff!
Too many duff songs in a row; time to switch to Spotify - and more from the artists I discovered on RP ;-)

1st time I've heard. Definitely like.

If you're referring to the spoken comment that I think you are (that his voice reminds me of an older black man), all I can say is:
reference to race ≠ racism
What a bizarre and racist thing to say O.o not cool

That cannot be Lazman, he was monocoloric green.
He is in drug rehab and as part of the treatment they tried an experimental therapy that consisted of colonic irrigation with a blue dye connected to a garden hose pipe. There was an unfortunate side-effect that turned his skin a pale shade of blue and he is temporarily unable to differentiate between green and blue.
Rock on Lazarus and get well soon!

Sounds like a Moby song, but I can't remember what it was called. Inspired by that at least I'd say...

2023 and here we are offending and taking offence over issues of race and colour. I swear, someday we going to make the dinosaurs look smart - at least they didn't do themselves in. I'll get down off my soapbox now.
