I had to down another couple pints of ale before rating this as Marginal.

Where yer man's describing in the song sounds rougher than a scabby dog's arse (and that's rough!). According to Wikipedia:
"The album title comes from a line in "Subbuteo" which references an incident when Abbott was beaten up at the age of 15 in his home town of Edinburgh."
So I'm guessing he's singing about somewhere like Sighthill or Wester Hailes, which are not renowned for being des res districts...
