hm, I bought every coldplay album so far except for this one. I still can not see a reason for changing my mind.
loved them years ago. still love parachutes and a rush of blood... it's a shame.

Coldplay has a very unique sound. It always sounds like Coldplay.
Somewhere out there, there is software written, having just 1 button saying: "Generate Next Coldplay Song".

Are you seriously comparing Coldplay to the Beatles?  Coldplay has already existed as a band twice as long as The Beatles were together.

I'm a fan. I say give them a chance. They have a long career ahead. The Beatles early stuff all sounded the same. Coldplay has a distinctive sound, I don't see the problem.
