Well, Bill, I hope that you never tire of hearing the compliments about your extraordinary finesse in the progressions of pieces played, the magic of the sequences. Because you never should! Those compliments need to - and will - go on forever, and you deserve to hear them forever! A genuine artiste! And a true servant to the people. A deep curtsy to you, monsieur!!
The beginning of this song played over the end of Pink Floyd’s Time. Both songs have a similar tempo, dreamy atmosphere, and an electric organ with a similar timbre to boot! That was brilliant. Well done, Bill.

I get more of a Steven Wilson/Blackfield vibe than a PF one. But Blackfield has a pretty strong PF influence, so maybe I'm splitting hairs.

Try out their new release "Space". Artwork on the cover from no less than 'Eclipse' (David Hardy), from PF fame.

No, I don't think that post was specifically restricting it, but at least five prior posts in this thread mention Pink Floyd as an influence - which is more of what I was getting at. From reading the comments for many of the songs played here, it often seems as if Pink Floyd is the only point of reference for a lot of the listeners.

Ahem... The website link leads to the official radio service of India. Maybe there is a lot there worth investigating but I suspect the band has little to do with the national broadcast service.

I can just see this being played as the passengers of the Carnival Triumph ship are leaving the boat.
Don't we pay Trillions of dollars for a Navy that could have rescued those people 5 days ago.

There is an art to writing ambient and mood pieces like this one.
