Beautiful girl walks slowly
Young men all look on
The first rose is a pleasure to my nose
The wine is a cool in the club
Some say the night is lonely
Some say the night is young
But night is the time for fantasy
The fantasy of love
It's unbelievable
Never wanna give it up
It's unbelievable
Never wanna give it up
You say, where's the rub?
Nothing lasts forever, baby, ain't u heard?
You say, where's the rub?
Life is an illusion and its so unjust
You ask, where's the rub?
You say, where's the rub?
Life is but a dream and I will turn to dust
Out of the sight of moonlight
The stars in the dome above
Your hair is waving in the wind
Are you ready for love? Are you ready?
Whether you believe or fathom in a eve or adam
The world of particles molecules and atoms
Living organisms into organized patterns
Living the life you love, you better love it with a passion
It's unbelievable
Never wanna give it up
It's unbelievable
Never wanna give it up
You say, where's the rub?
Nothing lasts forever, baby, ain't u heard?

Forever
Forever
Some say the nights are lonely
Some say the night is young
Night is the time, night is the time for fantasy
The fantasy of love
Never wanna give it up
Never wanna give it up
Never wanna give it up
It's unbelievable
Never wanna give it up
Give me the kinda gat that cause a real revolution
Don't care your race nor culture nor fashion
Life worth much more than gold and cash-in
Living every moment with true compassion
Unbelievable
Never gonna, never gonna give it up
Unbelievable
Never gonna give it up

please put this song out of its misery, and take it out of the rotation
just not that good. one of the few "I got to skip this" songs on RP
I suddenly find myself wondering if EMF's Unbelievable is on RP... or any EMF for that matter?
The thing I find 'Unbelievable' about this, is that it gets 'airplay'.
You are beneficent.

Well, this song made me look up from my keyboard and I liked it. Don't know why the ratings are so low but the song sounds really good to me so I gave it a 9.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. My old Dad used to tell me that, and I never listened either. PSD, thanks Mick et al.
I'm just over here laughing my --- off. This is such a glorious, cluttered train wreck of a song that I can't not like it. 7 for the lulz.
I love these RP WTF moments. Awesome! I give it a 5!
Awesome!
I was transfixed by the unbelievable images that the carousel displayed during this song!
It sure is.
OMG WTF STFU.
Gimme shelter is right.

Oh, god what IS this?!
Gave this a 1 on first listen for some reason (probably based on my how-much-do-I-want-it-In-my-RP_Favorites-playlist criterion), but now, after a few glasses of wine, it seems more listenable, if not likeable.
you know...
for a moment there...
I thought this PLAGUE had passed...
WRONG.

Good beat, interesting style... total departure for the Mick. I like it. C'mon kids! let go of your preconceived notions and just listen to it fresh.
it is such a shame that a band that comprises mick jagger and joss stone is only not worse than black eyed peas...
Who let Mick in?
Less Mick would actually improve this. Hard to listen to for some reason...
toomanyollys: wat u mean?, wat u say?, wat? lmao

DAVE STEWART + ANN MARIE CALHOUN by Back2Black Festival
Unlike many albums recently published by other artists and bands, in "SuperHeavy" all songs that make up this album are original, of great artistic quality, creativity and good taste, innovation, varied rhythms, refined, appealing lyrics, and splendid execution. It is uncommon, and even surprising result when we look at the average age of the musicians involved (some end-of career!), the dynamic, effulgent and high level of puissance of this album. We can even say that practically all the songs are interesting, "usable", audible with satisfaction, with a high average level of quality.
17 "top-radio-songs"! It's always with his foot on the throttle. I did not want, but here goes: Where are these refined experts of the "Music GRAMMY", the whistle to the side?, do not mention this magnificent work, published on 16 September 2011? Is in reserve for 2012 session? ...... When to assert itself as an undeniable success. It's late, late and bad times. Then, i hope they'll put the guitar in bag.
Congratulations are also the Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles, the high quality of the mixtures, editing and production. Impeccable.
And, to disappoint those who expected to see here a "species" extension or prolongation of the music of the Rolling Stones, because of the participation of one of its elements, Mick Jagger. Nothing like that. It's totally different. The structure of the music (Reggae-base, rhythms & orchestration with Latin-Indian elements) can sometimes give the feeling of being "commercial", I understand that, but I do not think, and in a more attentive hearing, concludes that it is a music of excellence, implemented superbly by great musicians.
The choice of singer Joss Stone, could be another singer, more mature, virtuous and charismatic? Could. But she might have a hard time interacting with the group, given the characteristics of the remaining members of this group, and the performance and availability of spirit that it would be expected. Joss thus settles in like a glove "SuperHeavy".
On the other hand, all the elements of the Rolling Stones, Mick is certainly always been the most "Jamaican", and perhaps the only one.
Therefore, such a project would be impossible with the actual formation of "The Rolling Stones".
I dare to speculate that Bob Marley himself, would like this music and even, perhaps, have participated in the "SuperHeavy". Unfortunately it's something we'll never know, for obvious reasons.
And beware, because this album creates addiction. More, is probably one of the best albums of the year 2011 (rock-reggae-fusion).
8+.
Hey, we must to give time to time, and straw to cows.
Is this entire album on the playlist? So far I just don't care for anything I've heard. Might as well play the entire thing so I can feel justified not paying a cent for it.

Was just thinking the same, although I would have toned it down to 'Mick is the weakest link.' His attempt to bring vocal energy just sounds like forced braying.
I give him points for trying something new—he just shouldn't try so hard. The strutting red rooster act should have been retired 2-3 decades ago.
I'm coming to the conclusion that Mick is the biggest problem with this band. He sounds awful...and trying way to hard to be hip.

Ha! The more I hear it, the more I like it.

I don't want to say this is awful, it's more a cacophony of nonsense.
Train wreck!!!
This was my first listen, and I like it! Tip o' the hat to Cynaera.
I like this song mostly for the Jamaican guy at the end. He makes me want to commit an act of violence. :P
Unbelievable....that we have to keep hearing this!
Unbelievable...that my otherwise steadfast itunes suddenly lost the signal to this tune....twice!
5 => 2

It's a fair comparison. The average rating of the four songs from this album on RP so far is about 5.2.
I'm getting a Basement Jaxx vibe here...both from the music and the listener responses.

What's unbelievable is this piece of crap gets played on RP. C'mon, Bill. We're better than this.

SuperCheesy
I can appreciate what this group is trying to accomplish, but I haven't liked any of it so far. Meh.

Meh. I don't find that the voices mesh well, to my ears at least. Can't say I'm loving the whole sound either. Maybe other tracks are better?

The disconnect for me is that hearing Jagger's inimitable voice is way different from watching this band's videos. On one of 'em, he's prancing down the street with Joss Stone, and I swear to God, it's scary how old he is and how much older yet he looks next to her. The amazing thing is that he's still got it and isn't afraid to flaunt it.
This is that new thing with Jagger! I've been trying to figure it out - that scurrying, scattershot background, and Jagger's sneering vocal... It sort of hits a few senses at once, but I like it! SO different from anything I've heard him do before, and he's got a pretty formidable band of miscreants with him this time. I'm giving it a 7 for now, but I bet that'll go up with further listens.

seems to be a lot going on, like the radio's tuned to two stations at once. But it's fine. 7. Rather hear disco Stones tho. Oo hoo oo hoo hoo oo hoo hoo HOO!
An annoying little song.
Well, I LIKE it! Bumping from 7 to 8.
maybe Dave could do this with Joss and SOMEONE else...
Won't be buying this CD.
Better than the song "Superheavy"
Not bad
Not timeless, but a really good effort
Some great hooks and beats, well done...

Welllllllll, no. Not for me.
I think Seattle is trying to make a point.
I'm going to give it the fun good rating it deserves and all u haters and nah sayers oughta just chill out - plenty of other places to do that (or make some music of your own)
Well,
+ This definitely scores very high on the WTF?-scale, which is nice.
+ I generally like mixing of genres
- Not a big fan of Jagger's vocals here.
This may grow to be unbelievably annoying. Time will tell. Please apply carefully.

Best part of this is the album cover by Shepard Fairey. The mixing pot approach to the music is just a gimmick that's only a ploy to sell records based on the names of the individuals involved. It's not very good.
I hear a little reggae beat in there, and that weird Vincent Price Thriller thing in the middle is sort of peculiar.
Pretty darn good!
I for one would like to hear this again.
This is that new Supergroup with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, and (Stephen?) Marley....heard them on XM the other day. I liked the song I heard that day much better than this one.
Interesting, but I am not convinced.
I hope this song doesn't end up on super heavy rotation.
I did recognize Jagger's voice for a few ticks.. then it turned to something else. This track did make me stop what I was doing and click to so who that was, didn't know who they were, then Bill said Google ... HA! It caught my ear, for sure... but will have to hear again before throwing a number. Very Clever Bill G !
I just googled them and apparently you did.

gotta love it!!!!
Ha! Sucked THAT rating down closer to where it belongs!
Thought I heard Mick Jagger!
