I was a kid from a Detroit suburb in 1967 and went with a bunch of friends down to the Fox Theater, downtown, as we called it, to see Mr. David Ruffin and the Temptations. Barry Gordon's whole Motown line-up was there. Anyone else see the Motown Review? Sweet sounds.

I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie outside of Cleveland. That vast emptiness of water between Detroit and Cleveland was filled with AM radio waves broadcasting Motown and all it had to offer. So lucky was I.

This group was fantastic in concert. So much energy. No one could stay in their seats. In the late 60's they did a summer concert tour with the Supremes. What a match up! Billed as the Temp-temp-tempting Temptations and the Sup-sup-super Supremes!
