This is an incredible meditation on the Christian myth. Agnosticism be damned, I love it.
You know who knocks this out of the ball park? Nana Mouskouri

One of Dylan's most poignant songs. Always love hearing other artists cover his music. He's very coverable.
Oooh the times, they are a-changiiiiiin'...
No... No one?!

From Kalamity Jane film. Ridicoulus
Any of Emmy lous songs should be 8 or above

Her voice is not my favorite, just like Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, John Prine, John Hiatt and many others, but damnit, I just have to listen to her and them.

one of the greatest hymns ever, IMO. dylan wrote some good stuff during his born-again days.

I would suspect this is a 6 because Dylan's original has a heft to the phrasing that EmmyLou can't match. Not to mention that harmonica instrumental in Dylan's original....
I know who it is from just the first few words!!
This is rated a 6? Hard to understand for such a superb effort.

Yet another dirge from ELH. She has some great songs in her catalogue.

I really have loved Emmylou's work through the years. She just keeps getting better, and now she's writing her own material. God bless her!
And Bill's following this up with Dylan doing his own work! Wow! A great day!
