So you're kneeled down, squinting cowardly and half asleep
You've been firing, only barely clipping her little wing
I'm waiting, with a mirror in front of me
Complicated dance move
I'm waiting, with a mirror in front of me
Complicated dance move
She's my sister, and she floats like a bird in the canopy
I'm listening, so let's go, sight locked, grit your teeth
I'm waiting, here I am brilliant, aim at me
Complicated dance move
She's my sister, and she floats like a bird in the canopy
She floats like a bird in the canopy
You've been firing, only barely clipping her little wing
I'm waiting, with a mirror in front of me
Complicated dance move

Complicated dance move

Complicated dance move
She's my sister, and she floats like a bird in the canopy

"Complicated dismount"
I don't like the atmosphere of this song, nor the lyrics
She's my sister
Yeah, that might be the problem with your sexy slow dancing moves.

Coming to read these comments is so stupid. I just have to stop it!!! The people here are so depressing.
I'm in it for the music, not the brats.
Now I will try to stop staring at the human train-wrecks, and just appreciate a great music site.
You kids get off my lawn!
Sounds like Guillemots to me.
Excellent song!
Very cool music getting dragged down by some seriously average vocals...too bad...

Good lord, this is awful. Thank goodness for PSD!
I keep on hearing "She floats like a bird in a can o'beer".

Hell is when the PSD button is just.out.of.reach.
this song would be so much better if I didn't understand a word of English
One of my favorite songs.
Well, this was unexpected and cool.
How have I not heard this before?

I love roses that come without seeking.
This goes beautifully with "white bird (in a golden cage)"

It's not that it's a bad song, it's just a little too overplayed. I agree with everyone else on that point. There are so many really really good songs out there. Please play this one a little less. thanks

First time I've heard this one. I like it. Job done. S funny that a few have challenges discerning their Bs and Ts. Get yer ears cleaned. Or improve your listening environment. Or just listen ;-)
Experiment IV-level awfulness. Must have a half-life of 10,000 years.

I like the song, but I don't need to hear it in such heavy rotation. White Socks Flip Flops it ain't.

Oooooffff. . .all rejected. Feel like I got the wind punched out of me. STILL. I stand by my assessment of this being a great album.

Yep! Very good to have them on Radio Paradise. I have always wondered why great CD's like Night Of The Furies and Life Like never made the RP-playlist. Great music, lousy marketing!
I uploaded "Silence By the Lakeside" from Night of the Furies to the LRC where it fared pretty well but didn't make it to the main playlist. I think what we hear on RP has more to do with the whims of the Goldsmiths than with any kind of marketing.

First, I'll say that the music programming is normally top notch on this station. Great variety, which I love. But in this case, I think we've heard this song PLENTY lately. Could we hear one of the other tracks on this CD for a change?

Just got this album yesterday. I'm looking forward to giving it a listen.
This is such a lovely experience.
I actually found the song quite beautiful..alluring..and soothing..helping me study without panic..
I usually don't mind a little quieter, laid back music. But that one put me to sleep.
AWWW YEAHHH! Hushed Vocals
Nice feel here. Does anyone else hear a faint resemblance to the old INXS song "To Look At You" (also in play on RP)

Interesting band name. An ode to Citizen Kane?

Lovely, but their previous CD Life Like is their masterpiece in my opinion.
I just discovered now this band, I like this sound!
Discovering and loving it, no matter the lirics are not that good.

The background electronics remind me of Jansen/Barbieri(ex-Japan guys) of about 20 years ago...

She walks alone down a sleazy backstreet
Around a corner, up an alley to a dead end
There under a small blue light
She enters an unmarked doorway
A low heartbeat, a low pounding escapes into the night
This is a place she goes to fulfill a very basic need
Something people have been doing since the dawn of man
To communicate without talking
If she needs something
She makes a gesture with her hand
And mouths what she wants
She wants to make a connection
A certain kind of connection
No this is not about something from the black market
This is about no questions
This is about smoke and sweat and beats
This is about no message
Around a corner, up an alley to a dead end
There under a small blue light
She enters an unmarked doorway
A low heartbeat, a low pounding escapes into the night
