I saw Zoe a couple of weeks ago in Grass Valley, she is still awesome, glad she's finally doing live performances again!
Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Funny!

No.

Noticed I haven't rated this song yet.
Requires better than average audio output to appreciate the ending.

so i just heard the whole song, including the single-note-sutained-for-three-minutes ending that i must've heard last time... it's pretty good (very Apocolyptica) up until she runs out of melody and just lets it drag on

pretty good until the ending 6>5

Guelph you say.  Home of the Bullring (when one could dance there), the Chooch and the Crystal Arcade (which burned down....lol arcade fire irl).  I'll bet she misses it.

Big difference between the comments from 11years ago to the more recent comments.
Don't believe B&R have ever ended a song abruptly before the end of the song.

Probably left regular rotation in the playlist for awhile.
That could explain the gap in time.
But the change in commentary?

I think this comment from three years ago helps explain the change:

Fantastically tasty & hypnotic. This is music, peeps.
Why have I never heard this before ?
I like modern composer Zoe Keating, Ludovico Einaudi and other.

Bravo! I keep thinking there is something familiar !
She is best live when you get to see her doing all this by herself.

Right you are. Very Zen-like.

Love it.

wow, lots of hate in here, but the ratings are pretty good.

I like it. Seems like it should build to something more than it does, but it's enjoyable and a damn bit better than some of the other 'rock-classic' stuff around.

tedious end
Where are Apocalyptica when you really need them?

I like it - but the ending is mental torture.
  The end drags on a bit doesn't it? 5.

Saw Zoe first time about 3 years ago at a small Imogen Heap concert —— absolutely mesmerizing live and that experience comes through every time I hear her music.  She is recording and looping live & solo just like Imogen.  Give it a different type of listen...This is radio paradise afterall.  You must like a pretty big range o music so try opening up to it at least a bit...

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
sounds like Damien Rice's "Volcano"

Wow, the final minute of this song gave me a headache!  An evil Canadian super weapon!

Funny alert!
Sort of like the ending of "A Day in the Life," except not as impressive.
This song is like playing tetris and constantly getting the same kind of block!
Still just brilliant :) Just saw her live last week, was equally lovely.

This song got my visitors to leave.  Finally!
three full minutes of a single note is too much

OK, its different but its tedious
You're slowly making me into a "rock cello" fan.
Girls with dreads are hawt.

Wow, the final minute of this song gave me a headache!  An evil Canadian super weapon!
End already, dang!
Please....end it already!

...i think i might be just a little bit smitten...

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa aha  ahha ahah hhhahha hah ahhhhhhhhhhha aaaaa hh ah hh aaa a! {#Ass}

Liked it in the beginning, but the end is much too long. Cut the track in half and it is ok...
This is fan-feckin-tastic!  OK i take on board what everyone is saying about the end now which was beggin to fade out 40 secs earlier but still what a track.

so bad at the end I had to mute my computer!  The droning, never ending tone could be used as a torture device!
...this is pretty darned cool...
FADE OUT
My mediastream quit toward the end of this song and got all buffery and stuff.  I was grateful. {#Headache}

Does anyone else get the feeling that Bill is on a mission to make every single music-loving individual BROKE?

awesome tune......{#Music}

Tetris Head

I wonder if this is the Tetris-Head she was referring to.  Good song.

I was once a Tetrishead. . .

This could be cause for homicide. Please, please, drop it from the play list.
Are we there yet?
This is my first listening to this song and as I was reading the comments I wondered how long the dreaded ending would be. I sort of liked it.
Started out nicely but the ending was just too tedious.
LOVE IT!!!

I actually like the ending, contrary to others who have written in.  It was my favorite part of the whole tune!

In your opinion, you mean, since you are not professionally qualified to speak for me.

I think your ego might be bigger than the instrument.

Exactly. I had to turn it off.

OMG, make it stop!
Kind of nice.  Interesting.  Does the title, "1 cello x 16" mean it's all her, over dubbed?
If so, Impressive!   She should join up with Imogene.

D'oh.   Yes, it's all her.  And she was on tour with I. Heap.

I don't get Bill's obsession with cellos.
I burned so many of my meals whilst playing Tetris in monochrome on my first XT
{#Yawn}
It was fine until the never-ending final chord.  Then it became painful.
Very nice!

I'm trying to get my mind around the song title. Hey! I've got tetris head!
Thought this was Apocolypica at first - sounds good!

Hey, she's Canadian too - bonus!
