I think I just hand an eargasm
A bunch of neo-hippies bouncing about in pastel caftans...pretty much the definition of harmless, I'd say. Tell me again...what's so annoying about peace, love, and understanding?
Great Addition to RP!!!{#Motor} Fits the primary style of the station.

I was trying to ignore this until it went away without posting any thought as to how awful it is.  Didn't work.
...cool!..

Nice description! I like it too.

Isn't this on the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind soundtrack?

I haven't listened to the Polyphonic Spree much but I do get the feeling that a little goes a long, long way.
I know you're trying to sneak that canned piano sound in underneath the production, but I can hear it, Polyphonic Spree.
Sweet horn.

Saw them open for David Bowie (Austin, I think 2004)

Great fun

I was thinking that this was some obscure Bowie thing circa 1976 when I heard the first 30sec of this

I had visions of The Flying Spaghetti Monster at the last concert of theirs I saw.

Typical Austin "hipper-than-thou" attitude.

I heard them perform on KCRW a few years back.
The lead guy (Tim DeLaughter from Tripping Daisy) said he always wanted to create the sound of singing into a fan.
So this is the result.

I was going to say that this is a curious choice for the only Polyphonic Spree tune on RP but then I thought, what song wouldn't be?!
Will no one help these poor people?

Me three. It was that performance opening for Bowie that killed my tolerance, basically. I traded in my Spree cd the next day, and couldn't listen to them at all for another year. Strong reaction, I know, but there was something about their forced gaiety and cult uniforms that really turned me off.

Well, they are certainly different :-)

Hope you have enjoyed the main show :-)

ha!  you'd have to have no heart to hate them!  although, sometimes they do get kinda cult-like creepy.  this isn't the album version by the way, some live version.  and a good one.

This is like The Cure meets The Beetles.

I like it.
