I walked into a minefield I never heard of
I walked into love
I walked into a minefield, I never heard of
Her remains were spread out like the pieces of a puzzle
It took her three hundred and sixty five days putting them together
The pieces were quite difficult to distinguish from each other
They were tiny and the clear blue sky went on forever
Clearly the corners were an easy start
That was when everyone was still helping me out
When it was time to fill in the frames, they left
They thought I ought to have gotten over you by then
Her remains were spread out like the pieces of a puzzle
It took her three hundred and sixty five days putting them together
The pieces were quite difficult to distinguish from each other
They were tiny and the clear blue sky went on forever
I wouldn't do that to you
I wouldn't do that to you
I wouldn't do that to you
I wouldn't do that to you
I walked into love
I walked into a minefield, I never heard of
I walked into love
I walked into a minefield, I never heard of
I never heard of
it took her 365 days putting them together
the pieces were quite difficult to distinguish from each other
What is this? The soundtrack from CSI: Miami?
The first part of this post stated only would have made it genius. If I had seen that, I'd still be "snort" laughing. 6 and some change.
Can't say that I like, can't say that I hate it. 5
No, you are not alone. I like this. Nice, pretty...and haunting. Good combo!
therefore these songs are not ready-to-hear, she is necessary to discover, and later it is liked and appreciate
that it is as who says, to love is necessary to know first....

Bill,
Thanks for challenging my 'ear' with tracks like this. I give it a '6'... unless my 'ear' grows to appreciate it more. An interesting story in the lyrics, a bold syncopation in the rhythm but it's just a bit too different... right now.
Although sometimes it can be painful.
Ouch!
Songs of artist Ane Brun reveal in its design a very personal style and a very particular way of approaching music, and this is the most interest, is what it is called to be creative against-the-chain, the standart, therefore these songs are not easy ready-to-hear at first sight, is necessary to discover, and later liked and appreciate (or not); that it is as who says, to love is necessary to know first....

I thought it was the McGarrigle Sisters. I think it's ok. No better, no worse than said Sister's work.
maybe too special for the most. But ratings aren't everything, and not
always indicator for the quality of music (whatever this might be)
Seemed to go on forever and ever...

At first, her voice reminds me of Joanna Newsom, but not as interesting. Do not like.
