The violin is the devil's instrument and when played solo like this makes me want to stop sinning and try to earn a place in heaven - who needs fire and brimstone with this noise as an effective alternative.
It is so terrible, I had to switch off. Totally unoriented deedledoodle.
Teeth-pulling noise.
Teeth-pulling noise.
Damned lightweight dilettantes. Why won't anyone tackle a serious issue these days?
And yes, I like it very much![{#Shifty} {#Shifty}](https://img.radioparadise.com/emoji/eusa_shifty.gif)

I find it highly unlikely that it's a coincidence. Bill is an artist when it comes to crafting a playlist and that transition isn't something that would just happen.
Here I am thinking, "Alison Krauss is a great fiddler—perhaps a better fiddler than she is a vocalist. Maybe we should nudge Bill to play a little more of Alison on fiddle with Union Station," and who pops up but Eileen Ivers. Coincidence? Hmm...

I use to go see her every week with Susan McKeown in the early 90s.
Amazing to see live.

Don't recall ever hearing Eileen Ivers on RP - thanks - saw her at Strathmore in Maryland - pure delight!

I would imagine it's her, but those are bow-hairs, not strings.
Is that her breaking about 5 strings at once on the album cover photo?

Would be fine back to back with Ants Marching by Dave Matthews... ![{#Idea} {#Idea}](https://img.radioparadise.com/emoji/icon_idea.gif)

I enjoy this piece quite a bit, and I'be always liked her style of playing...
Sounds like King of the Faries

I'm very familiar with Jean Luc, but who is David Grisman? (Nothing about him on AMG.)

Absolutely worth to be played here!

Nice blend of blues and country. Always like to hear
the diversity of RP.
