I love this music.

No. NO. Anything but this.
Yes. Better.
Music for a French film
Of course it's OK and good to get such music played here,
still - would never think of buying or even playing this at home

Great music. Piazzolla is a well-known musician throughout most of the world. Al DiMeola did a tribute album to his music some years ago. Thanks to RP for bringing him to an audience that likely hasn't heard this genre of music often.
Was this in the Godfather?
That was a painful 6 minutes
It's definitely different
Me no likey, I would prefer music of this genre from groups like Madredeus...much better.
My wife and I learnt to tango to this

Sounds a bit like gotan project to me.. nice!
A highly refined piece of music! ... the foundations of tango music!
Thanks Bill for this choice!
We're going around the world today! Nice set, Bill.
Very proud and grateful of listening to Piazzolla at RP!!
A big Thank You to Bill, from Buenos Aires, Argentina
PD: Every time I listen to Piazzolla at RP makes me send some $ to support this wonderful radio. Keep it going, Bill !

suuuuuper
This reminds me of music from that 1995 movie "12 Monkeys" — sounds a lot like track #1 on the soundtrack: "Introduccion" from Suite Punta Del Este (12 Monkeys)
"Mama's got a squeezebox/Daddy plays it all night long..." I love Piazzolla. His live stuff is not to be believed.
I don't know if this was on the Triplets of Belleville soundtrack, but it should have been.

Thanks, Bill!
¡Grandioso!
Sweet, nostalgic, violent, brave, irresistible. Every Piazzolla's moods in this song.
Just for the trivia fans, Zita was Anibal Troilo's wife. Troilo, aka Pichuco, was probably the best bandoneon player ever, and Astor´s first teacher. Suite troileana is devoted to him and his world.
Abrazo grande desde Buenos Aires!

"Whatever happened to the Chainsaw Juggler? He was a good friend of mine.
Nobody knows. They found him alone, all bloodied, with his arms by his side."

This music lives......heard this very piece being played by a blind street accordionist last week in Quito, Ecuador. Instantly took me back, thanks Bill.
Ah, the unmistakable Piazolla. =)
Ican't cope with this.I'm off to find some rope
Has to be Piazzolla... and it is!
Canadian music, Swedish music and now Argentinian Jazz-Tango.
The home boyz must be on vacation.

The instrument is a bandoneón. It has buttons but, unlike an accordion, no keys. One is shown on the album photo.
Wow!!! Cool!
