I love Roy's voice, but this is pretty cheesy. I'm not afraid to say it.
SUPERB!! Thanx RP!

Shove her over
I'm not rating this, and I don't want to say anything negative. Nice clarinet tho. And timeless talent.

I swear he was singing, "Shot a robot." Sort of like a Johnny Cash Folsom Prison Blues song, without the prison because...well...I don't think they'll send you to prison for shooting a robot. They probably give you a medal...and a statue. Yeah, let's all go shoot a robot!!

I really like Roy, but some of his stuff was just way over produced. This, unfortunately, is one of them. The voice is sublime but the orchestration is dreadful.

I think he is saying "John the robot".

Amazing, how much he and Elvis defined the role of Singer, and flashed their total mastery of the human voice as a powerful instrument. Truly immortal stuff!
WTF?!

Does anyone remember the "Annoying Music Show"? It used to come out of the Chicago Public Radio station. This would fit.

No, I had never heard this one before, but, Roy's voice sure is lovely.

What a hoot. Nicely produced camp.
