You got me tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
Tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long with a two ton anchor
I can't move my arms
To hold nobody
Hold nobody but you
I can't move my legs
To chase nobody
To kick nobody but you
You got me tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
Tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
I can't move eyes
To see nobody
See nobody but you
I can't move my tongue
To taste nobody
To lick nobody but you
You got me tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
Tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
I can't move my lips
To kiss nobody
Kiss nobody but you
I can't move my heart
To love nobody
To love nobody but you
You got me tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
Tied down with battleship chains
Fifty foot long and a two ton anchor
You got me tied, tied,
Whoo hoo, tied tied
Don't you know you got me
Tied tied, whoo hoo
Baby don't you know you got me
Tied tied, whoo hoo

It was recorded by The Woods .... but if you're after a rock version, check out The Wildhearts (they're UK as am I 😍)
(Better late than never I guess)

Love the Satellites but I would love to hear Dan Baird "I love you period" Very fun little tune.

Somebody did this song about 30 years ago, but I can't remember who. Anyone?

Love it!!
The louder, the better. Thanks RP!
I can remember the video of this on MTV back in the day, and it sure is a fun song... I was surprised in late 1988, when teaching in Shizuoka, Japan, that my new British friend Mike also knew and loved this song and group! Music truly transcends all geographical and cultural boundaries, and thanks for this, RP!
I can still smell this cassette.

Another WTF moment brought to you by RP. I have never heard this. Not surprising. This is probably the only place in the world that plays it. Que viva RP!
Good Fun!
Yeeee Haaaa!
I love this song. dus any1 ken where i can listen to it on the internet?
1986 +-
i listen this song in valencia (spain) 1986
HEY! I was going to upload this... I figured it would never make it. There I go again... assuming.
What's next, 38 Special?
I'm all for eclectic, but I didn't need this one dug up out of my '80's rock-n-roll past. It could have laid peacefully in death.
YAAAAA!!! WE BE ROCKIN!!!!
Note to Bill : Yes, the RP community can handle some more straight ahead rock music

Warren Zevon ?
I LOVED this album when it came out, still do. Total rockers! This song kind of has an Irish sound, too...a bit like "500 Miles" from the Proclaimers.
Those Celtic/Georgia boys, I tell ya.
Wow! What the hell is this doing on RP?!!!
(I mean that in a good way. I love this song, but RP usually never plays stuff like this.)
