In the 1978 film National Lampoon's Animal House, Cray was the uncredited bassist in the house party band Otis Day and the Knights.

Even in 'My Favorites' WilliamG has a good flow of songs, first a Clapton track (Hey Hey, from Unplugged) then this Robert Cray tune. Lucky me got to see both play in~2008ish at the Key Arena. LLRP!!

Robert Cray, 61 yr, has a career since 1974, is a American blues guitarist and singer, from Columbus, Georgia, and 21-LP Albums published since 1980, I want to highlight here this batch of songs obtained in a recent live performance in stage six years ago, which left me impressed, and the songs are:
Phone Booth
Our Last Time
Right Next Door (Because Of Me)
Bad Influence
Twenty
Time Makes Two
Sittin 'On Top Of The World
I'm Walking
Would love to hear any of those tracks here, have been a Robert Cray fan since mid-80s.
