Ranking Jackson
Edgar Allen Poe? In your early 90s Adult Contemporary?

It's more likely than you think!!

<3
He just said Walkman!
My daughter had a heart transplant about 22 years ago, and this song has always been a tearjerker for me, every time I hear it. She's doing great, and while it's not technically her heart I hear, I'm still very happy to hear it, everywhere I go.
Every once in a while Jackson Brown comes up with a cheerful song.

There's hope for humanity after all.
I would so much rather this be Sublime
Average fluff. Nothing to get excited about.
An ironic name for an LP that sounds like he is barely alive. At least this tune.I had never heard of this LP, now I know why.
Would it be so hard for them to have their instruments in tune?

Similar cultural misappropriation maybe?
If you’re ever in the studio with your band, and someone says “hey, let’s do this one reggae style!“, you should pause and consult the handbook of things that pop-rock stars should never do. Reaggae style is right after the section on slapping a hip-hop section in the middle of the song, I believe.
Did Jackson Brown just say "Moving my body in a ragamuffin style "?

Why?  Oh, I think you know why!

Jackson Browne does reggae? Who knew!

Good album. I can't believe it's 25 years old. What's a Walkman?
I am a fan of Jackson Browne, but this tune just does not do it for me. Sorry.

Yes, definitely some good tunes on this album, especially the title track.
At first I found the drums were mixed a bit too much upfront, but when you have such a master of precision in your band, it's worth giving him the importance he deserves.
Love the song and album. One of my favorite JB albums.
what a songwriter
