Not a good idea.

1. The consequences of what Trump said, did and didn't do are going to play out for years. As William Faulkner wrote, "The past is never dead. It's not even past."

2. You don't/can't sweep a four-year nationwide shitshow under the rug. Learn from the past so you don't screw up again. Own our collective failures.

3. Trump isn't done yet. He may be back in 2024. Or he may be provide entertainment as a legal respondent/piñata in multiple legal actions.

Never turn your back on the Devil.

I like the Qanon response better...Trump PUT Biden in place on purpose, and Biden will be the one to deliver on Trump's plans to rid the world of the pedo's!!!

If people weren't acting out and hurting people, it would be funny.

Too soon? Ok, Ivanka 2028!

Considering that I don't see Trump ever giving Pence the endorsement... Ivanka would be his go-to pick as early as 2024.

Who knew that Marxist-Keynesian fiscal policy would be so popular in the USA?   Why risk-manage for unexpected shocks like a pandemic when a myopic, narcissistic approach to policy is so popular with  great American patriots?

Trade and investment fights.... with just about everybody on the planet.

COVID-19 pandemic denial.   Yup.  Really good for the economy.

Ripped up the TPP freer trade deal.

Trump and many of his supporters constantly lied.    The Republican brain trust then set out immediately to develop a coherent theory as to why lying and being untrustworthy are great for socio-economic outcomes.

Trump played golf, scarfed down cheese burgers and added lovely layers to his perky man boobs, and luscious sexy, curvaceous hips.  In the process, President Trump reinforced the message that the obesity-sitting-dementia epidemic is a huge positive for America's ability to compete in the modern information technology economy.    In addition, Trump signalled the great contribution of opioids to modern US economic growth.

Surely, reasonable people will recognize that the less blood that flows to your head, the better the decisions.   (Even the Democrats agree with this one.)

It is the sense of responsibility that helps us to act without being ordered to act, the instinct that tells us, even when we are alone, that we owe a duty to others and that our behavior affects them as much as it does ourselves."
