Tax evasion, securities fraud, lying to investigators...  just laying the groundwork with his minions that these aren't real crimes.  It will make future pardons seem more like admin than favors.

Outrageous! He is violating so many norms here—he's supposed to wait for his last week in office to hold the pardon auction.

Well if you think of the federal criminal system as a swamp, he's just "drainin'".

We get what we pay for. And we'll be paying for this kind of corruption for generations now.

Right tRump was a “known quantity“, a narcissistic idiotic racist, famous off his KKK supporting dad’s money, who has filed bankruptcy multiple times and started a “school” that ripped off his followers, has not done a worthwhile thing in the WH except watch Fox News and kiss Putin’s shoes, oh and raise the US National debt 3 times, all the known activities you find so worth while!!! Bloomberg may take your guns?! What a fucking joke, when will you need your guns, to get decent treatment at the hospital or to insure proper treatment for Social Security, or to make America Great Again?
tRump’s theme music should be “send in the clowns” for you simpletons.

In a little bit over 11 months from now Bloomberg will have successfully bought the Presidency and be taking the oath of office.

I almost hope that he does, this will seal the deal for the splintering of the Democratic party and the official Democratic-Socialist party will be born as an equal force.  Then after Trump, we will see what will become of the Republicans and then we will really be getting somewhere.   I can see Democrat, Democratic-Socialist, Republican, Nationalist, Libertarian and even Green growing as a splinter from the DS.{#Meditate}   Libertarians will remain the only party even remotely interested in the deficit and decreasing government power though.{#Cry}

I do have a problem with Bloomberg, especially with all of the video clips and other little tidbits about him and the anti woman corporate culture that seems to permeate his enterprises.  It seems that he is everything that is said to be wrong with Trump, but only much, much worse.  Trump was a known quantity before the election, there was no bait and switch.  Bloomberg had a terrible last week with all kinds of bad being revealed regarding real racist and misogynistic actions particularly those regarding pregnant women on the company payroll with the expected flip flops and insincere backtracking. To me, Bloomberg is the real fascist authoritarian oligarch that we have all been warned about.  He owns a major media organization that will do and say whatever he asks.  He openly wants to take our guns and regulate almost every aspect of our lives, because we just are not smart enough to be trusted to do the right thing without his guidance.  He is afraid of nothing except the common people like you and me.  And he already has decided our futures.

He wants to destroy Trump and doesn't care who gets caught in the crossfire more than he wants to be POTUS.  I doubt that the country would survive Bloomberg's vendettas and ensuing rampages in any recognizable way should he win.

So far if I can't have Trump again, I'll take Bernie all day long.  He is an open book.  There would not be any surprises with Bernie.

And I will be voting for Bernie in our primary.

What will there reaction be if the opposition regains power and uses the same lack of decorom/norms/institutional respect in a ferverous zeal to overturn these actions and march sternly the opposite direction?

Possible, or do we ignore it from all sides now.?  But i guess it doesnt really matter, as there is still plenty to complain about from each angle.
You can't deny the economy is growing, wage rates are finally, albeit only modestly, above inflation, asset prices are rising, consumer sentiment is strong, inflation controlled...still, one can pay attention to what we dont have - universal health care, affordable college, income equality, balanced budget...lofty goals, but at what cost?

The real trick...Trump has delivered the results that corporate elites wanted while simultaneously convincing a third of the country that those same issues are in their interests (when they aren't).  His genius is that he never breaks character for the masses.  As a sweeping generalization, they don't check anything that comes from his mouth or Fox news.  Listen to the folks in line at his rallies....the tax cuts have created the greatest economy in the history of the civilization!!  The tax cuts are helping everyone!  He's bringing down healthcare costs!  None of that is supported by facts.
