Here's how an event was reported yesterday in the MAGA-sphere by the Washington Examiner.
The House Ways and Means Committee released more than 700 pages of evidence on Wednesday that the
committee said supported the Republican-led impeachment inquiry into
President Joe Biden.
Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) summarized that the trove of material,
provided to the committee by two IRS whistleblowers, showed Joe Biden's
"political power and influence was 'the brand' that Hunter Biden was
selling all over the world" and that it also "suggests an effort to sway
U.S. policy decisions." ...
To publicize the release of this information, Chairman Smith decided to hold a press conference. Here is the back-and-forth on the first question:
Yeah...Private citizen Joe Biden's son wouldn't "sell political influence" on What's App for his father...the former VP who is living in Delaware without a government job during the first Trump administration.
Evidence? Facts? They are so focused on creating "The Biden Crime Family" to somehow justify Trump, that they don't even recognize common sense. If you want to see "evidence"...clink on the link to the MATERIAL above and take a look. It's like copying the phone book, and suggesting you have 500 pages of detailed addresses and phone numbers of possible co-conspirators.
Can't wait to see all of the "proof" in the Biden thread this afternoon.
Having seen the absolute cluster that was 45, and realizing that vastly more {damage} could have been done if they'd only had their shit together.
I hope the Dems put this in their campaign ads in the swing states. With some good Madison Ave style commercials they can do a good job of splaining what's to come if they go with Trump again. I don't think they need to keep throwing Jan 6th out there, its stale everyone has seen it at this point.

I would like to see examples too. I suppose I take it for granted there are actually some books in grammar schools with naked cartoons, which I don't find appropriate at that level, but where exactly are they?
I agree...but would be interested in an example or two, with specific attention to the use of the book being available in a library vs. being part of the curriculum.
Common sense is mislabeled these days, so the conversation requires specific examples to discuss and agree when a line has been crossed.

Centrist? Certainly better than the nonsense that seems to control politics now...but not really the point of consensus.
We need conservative ideas, because some things are worth preserving...and for the most part, things are better now for most of humanity than at any time in history.
And we need liberal ideas, because some things need to change...and there is still plenty that we can do to improve the condition of humanity.
Find consensus.
