On my 18th birthday weekend I loaded my motorcycle up in my pop's old Chevy pickumup and drove with it to Myrtle Beach. In addition to beach swag I took a portable stereo and a dozen or so records, one of which was Moontan. I dig it. Time machines are us.

I still listen to Moontan and Switch all the time.  Both are albums that you can listen to all the way through.

Got to see them here in Cleveland when they came through for the Switch tour.

Well, afaict there are only 2 songs by Golden Earring played by RP at all. Whether that's enough or not seems largely debatable. Granted, you can argue about taste. But you can't argue about good taste. lol

Me: No, NPR, I'm pretty sure he's not known as SBF at all, except maybe in your texts back and forth where you can read SBF FTX and those have visual independence but when you say it on the radio it fucking rhymes and SBF saves no milliseconds or syllables over Bankman-Fried so stop it now.

Be it music, or movies.
As with this 2015 movie named "UMRIKA":

Thanks for the movie tip! Started it last night but JFW is afraid it's going to end badly so we switched over and watched the Wes Anderson thing.

Merely 18 minutes in and holy wow, is this ever resonating.  Now apply what you're hearing to not only COVID, but also the current narratives being put forth on gender, climate change, and views on politics in general - ie your political opposites, and more.

Hey, RP - what's up with you?

Not enough Golden Earring in all RP mixes (since they are Dutch, not Umrican)?

I suggest their "The Continuing Story of Radar Love" compilation to gain more traction on RP, since it seems quite unparalleled (and way underrated in general).

Candy's Going Bad

Kill Me (Ce Soir)

Mad Love's Coming

Twilight Zone

Just to name a few of their greatest songs. (And I'm sorry to interfere this harshly.)

I finally figured out what happens to engineering students that flunk out. They design everyday goods and appliances for Portugal.
