We don't do trick or treat here, in spite of the marketeers working hard to get Halloween established. That doesn't mean I won't buy a bag of miniature Snickers just in case.

We have some newer neighbors on the block who made it more worthwhile for the car to stop and belch out offspring. We used to really have to light the place up to get anyone to bother. But there are about half a dozen "trunk or treat" events that kids can go to and really haul in the individually-wrapped lifesavers so a lot of kids never get to go door-to-door I guess.
Gave out a couple hundred fun size Reese's and KitKats, but most kids got at least two, so figure 75 visitors.
One dad played along when I said "say 'Trick or Beer' dad!" and got a beer.
Bud Light Orange, that someone left at our house a few months ago. The fuzzy jawbreaker of halloween beverages.

Me too. Turned off all the lights inside and out. Only light was from the TV watching the football games.
I needed to have a Quarantine COVID-19 sign posted on my door.

It's getting dark. Time to turn off all the lights and make our house look unoccupied. I was thinking I should get a roll of yellow crime scene tape and tape off our driveway. Nest year for sure.

Nice! A coworker in Melbourne decided it was too much work to take kid out, given the covid rules. Not that Halloween is much of a thing here, in spite of the efforts of the marketing people. I did feel obliged to grab a bag of mini-Snickers and put them in the freezer
