And I think Mrs. Clinton lost because she can't hear herself...

Not sure I am following. Trump won because no one was really listening to him; the voters were too busy talking over and past each other?

and Clinton lost because voters were listening to her and did not like what they were hearing, but she was too politically tone deaf to adjust?

i have heard a number of theories on the true reason for Trump's election. Can you state plainly and simply what you believe that reason to be? (For those of us, like me, who cut class that day! )

Yes the country is pretty evenly divided, but this place is not.  I have no idea how you could come to that conclusion.  The ratio here is about 10 to 1 here to be generous.  That is anti Trump 10 to pro Trump 1 among regular posters.

That is all.  bed time now.  Saturdays are brutal.

Read the sentences in my post in the order they were presented. The sentence you bolded addresses the premise set forth in the first sentence.

And my third sentence talked about the country being roughly evenly divided between those on the conservative side of the spectrum and those on the liberal side. I did not make the comparison between Trump supporters and those not supportive.

Pour that cold coffee over ice, man! Spoon of honey, about 1/3 milk, I shake mine in a cocktail shaker because honey balls up in cold.

In the FWIW department,  the stone deaf and illiterate remark was directed at the people who created the story, our wonderful news media who create the stories that appear here, not the people here.

There are many ways to describe the people here, but stone deaf and illiterate would be my last choice.  Not that it matters to anyone here as I'm pretty well type cast and nearly everything I say gets twisted, too.

and to this ...

Then I will stop my preemptive actions against the Lord of the Flies kids and......

Oh shit baseball is on! You kids just grow up while I go away and act like an adult and watch baseball.

I will be back to check things out.Don't make me be the bad guy.I don't want to have to set this thread straight again.Frankly,I think I should be paid for my education efforts here.
