That's one of the points that always sticks with me...many of the trump sympathizers support their arguments with a comment about them supporting the office of the presidency...when Trump seems to be doing his best to c$#p all over it.

There is no set policy on how long flags are lowered. They are often lowered until the body is interred. With every other flag in DC still lowered, the WH sent a particularly nasty message by hoisting the flags.
