it's happening again. 2 songs at once. after ~3hrs of listening. bobby darin-mack the knife & natalie merchant-golden boy... not a good mashup imo ;) reloading page. chrome 118.0.5993.120 on windows 10.0.19.45 build 19045
got 2 songs playing at the same time ... let it play for a while & it's 2 songs forward overlapping.... & now it cleaned it's self up, but displaying wrong info: 2 songs behind... ill reload page & report back if that doesn't clear it up.
Things seem to have gotten better - at least for the last 30 minutes I've been on the computer.
Oops - one hour later 404 Not Found.
It's related to an 8 year old bug. So not expecting a fix soon.
We'll have to come up with a way to accommodate it.
In the meantime. Firefox is going to be unreliable in certain scenarios.
Would recommend another browser for now.
I tracked down the issue, but don't have a solution at the moment.
Firefox has some new optimizations to reuse open connections and is requesting web files from our audio servers. And vice versa.
Not sure if it's a bug or something they expect websites to accommodate.

Hello William
I use Firefox. But you know what? I emptied all cache and cookies, and the problem is solved! I seldom think about doing this...
Thanks for answering and have a nice day!
This is the same thing I"m getting on my machine. 1/3 - 1/2 of the links don't work, image files broken, 404 not found, audio randomly quitting... Using Firefox 119.0 on iMac 2019 w/ OS Sonoma 14.0. Tried on latest Safari and all appears well - how I'm writing this now. Can't access Forum on Firefox. Also trouble on FF seems to be a bit random.

RP is broken on my Win 10 machine with the latest Firefox 119.0 update. It's randomly only loading a 404 Not Found page. When it does load the site, no images load.
Clicking on the listener forum link takes me back to the home page. If I right click on the link to open the forum in a new tab I get the dreaded 404 Not Found page.
All seems normal on Edge and FF 119.0 on my Win 11 machine.

Hello, on my computer, the Main & Mellow mixes play the same songs... Moreover, the same songs are replayed quite often (every other day). I did not have this issue before. Is there a parameter I put on or off wihout knowing it?
Have a nice day on RP everybody :)

Album art and the song title are now hanging in the iOS app when using carplay. Hitting pause and then play fixes it (but just for that one song). Seems like this was fixed a month or two ago, but it's happening again.
UPDATE: It's intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
1. site doesn't load in Firefox (android and PC)
2. stream stops after voice "thanks for listening" (in various languages) in other browsers AND the RP app, which seems to be a just a browser.
Chrome and Firefox on a PC, both test fine here. Zero issues. Other than really missing the Global stream.
1. Site doesn't load in Firefox (android and PC)...
...The song info and album art is only working for the main channel, and that only partially, often it is out of sync with song, often it is not shown at all. The other channels have no album art/song info at all.
Thanks
Andreas
I'm getting the site and music stream in Firefox on a PC - only the Main, Mellow, Rock, and Favorites streams though. The song info seems to be in sync on each channel with what's playing for me.

3. most important: I bought a wiim mini streamer to play RP direct into the stereo via tuneIn. Basically works, but
the icons for the RP streams are all the same for the 4 channels (now 3, for global mix seems to make spa year out of spa day). So that's no joy operating RP inside the beautiful wiim app, feels like a frankenstein solution.

4. related: in tuneIn I have no info about the stream bitrate, nor can I choose it. Does anyone know what bitrate it is?
I really love RP (the music part) and already made donations and plan on doing so in the future, but please make it a contemporary interface.

No AAC-128 or MP3-128 streams are working. Main website sorta works but sometimes it returns 404 Not Found, or has broken inline images. What's Playing is stuck on Supertramp - If Everyone Was Listening.
