The carnivores get rabies and distemper shots every 3 years, dogs get parvo shots every 3, sheep get clostridium and tetanus shots annually, horse gets EWT/EN annually because the immunities fade. This seems to be a difficult concept for you to grasp, but every shepherd/cattleman/vet understands this.
None of your goddamned business, but 3. I also got a flu shot, a shingles shot, and a tetanus shot (haven't counted how many that makes over my life, but that immunity fades over time so you need more than one. Or is tetanus another hoax, a scam by evil pharma to get us to take more shots?)
I also vaccinate my animals. when will you take another?
Soon as I can. Covid immunity seems to fade over time.
how effective are these shots against the flu-like illness?
The CEOs of the nation's largest airlines are asking the Biden administration to drop the federal mask mandate on airplanes, along with the pre-departure testing requirement for international travelers. Although COVID-19 cases in the U.S. have fallen sharply in the last two months and restrictions are being lifted across the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention earlier this month extended its mass transit mask mandate by 30 days, until mid-April, and masking guidelines for airlines remain in place.
"Now is the time for the administration to sunset federal transportation travel restrictions â including the international predeparture testing requirement and the federal mask mandate â that are no longer aligned with the realities of the current epidemiological environment," the CEOs of 10 U.S.-based passenger and cargo airlines, including Delta, American and United, wrote in a letter to President Biden.
You keep failing to explain why getting the vaccinations is a problem. Andy then you throw in the total non-problem of masks, which are known to reduce transmission, even with omicron. When your argument comes down to, "I don't like it, your argument is pretty weak.
Public Health officials and politicians are saying that it's fine to remove the masks sounds good
the pandemic is over if people took the vaccine good for them but there's no need to be mandating it for other people
So no, much much worse than the flu. Like 9X worse than a really bad flu season.
If we secretly had a really bad flu season and every single flu death was counted as a covid death, and half the remaining covid deaths were some other cause but coincidental with covid then covid is still about 4X worse than the flu.
Sorry, I did math. Let me put it in terms you might understand: No, much much much worse than the flu. Unless you're vaxed. Then it's about as mild as the flu:
The original strain is no longer a concern
The variants are what is prevalent, and they are at flu and hay fever level.
In 2020 the original was prevalent this is now 2022, it's no longer a concern
It's like you're saying we had winter snow so we should be wearing snow clothes and getting ready to shovel two years later
Okay so what you're doing is spreading fear, trying to say this thing that's like hay fever or the flu is a deadly killer and everybody should get three injections. dude re-think it
UK is doing shot 4
planning injection 5
wake up
you took two shots and think you're a hero and vindictively want to fire anybody who won't take one shot you want your servants masked you want to fire people unless they comply to your injections.
do you ever stop, take stock of the situation, and chart a new course (pivot) or do you always just keep going with the whatever direction you started going with?

Globally, BA.2 made up about 86 percent of cases reported to the W.H.O. between Feb. 16 and March 17, the agency said in a report on Tuesday. The previously dominant subvariants, BA.1 and BA.1.1, together represented about 13 percent of the cases. (...)
Scientists suspect that BA.2âs rapid growth is thanks to its unique mutations. In the gene for the spike protein on the surface of the virus, BA.2 has eight mutations not found in BA.1.
Although BA.2 has become the latest subvariant on many peopleâs minds, there are also three so-called recombinant variants that the W.H.O. has deemed noteworthy enough to be named. One of these variants, nicknamed âDeltacron,â was discovered in February but had not been officially named.
On Tuesday, the agency said that it had named the three variants â two versions of Deltacron and one that combined BA.1 and BA.2 â XD, XE and XF. There was no evidence that these recombinant variants are more transmissible or cause âmore severe outcomes,â the report said.

I saw a presentation one time with a real estate guy who before talking about real estate made everyone calculate their life expectancy and subtract their age and calculate their remaining days and said now look how small it is and you don't want to waste any days they are precious
I got two Moderna, that's all I'm doing. The wife got the booster on her own free will. I didn't want her to and let her know that I wasn't going to before she got hers. Since she got her third, we have seen an almost immediate subsequent outbreak of some serious new problems that were not even a thought previously. Most noticeably she is now on oxygen and has some sort of new cardiac thing going on, too. She really regrets getting the booster and I now regret that I should have said more to try and dissuade her from getting the third and didn't. She'll be undergoing a lot of tests during this next month.
