Great to hear that you are both safe. RP is simply the best station anywhere!

Glad to hear you guys are safe.  But so sorry to hear that the town is gone and people are missing.

Don't know anything about Paradise, CA but you folks have lots of folks up here in Toronto that depend on your one of a kind radio station.

Nothing in the world that I know of compares to RP.  Lossless streaming and amazing database technology to weave a new story every day.

Bill, I'm so glad you're safe. I was listening to KPIG this morning, and Ralph Anybody mentioned that you were living in Paradise and wished you well. He also mentioned that you were responsible for getting KPIG on the Internet and how cool it was that you enabled it to be the first station streaming online. I called him up and told him that you weren't living in Paradise anymore so you were safe. Next break he came on the air and reported what I told him. Just thought you might like to know your old pals at KPIG are thinking of you!

Peter listening in the UK here....just read about the fires destroying Paradise! Glad to read below that you are okay......hope your property is okay too. 

Was listening to the Main Mix yesterday when I saw the news, and was very worried. Glad you're not there. The whole town is on fire! We are choking on the same smoke way down here in Silicon Valley today. Smelled it inside the house as soon as we woke up this morning, and it made our eyes tear when we went outside. Must be horrible.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all affected in the fire zone.

Yes, we still have family in Chico. We were there yesterday visiting them & saw first-hand the chaos of the evacuation (as well as the smoke).  They're all fine, and fully prepared to leave if they need to. 

   I am glad you guys are OK. I am in the bay area (San Carlos) and the smoke/haze is pretty bad here. Have you heard any Amateur Radio communication in your area?

i think i remember something being said about not being located exactly in paradise

still in the broader area, califiornia and nevada

or maybe having a second location

of course i could be mistaken

but yeah glad they're safe and sad that the fires have taken a serious toll
