When will we ever get out of the daily rain PITA weather pattern?!
I canât get my yard work and gardening done. Itâs prolong long my work by 3 weeks and itâs less than a week to July.
Down here in Jersey we are getting a reprieve from the rain Thursday just in time for some excessive smoke to come in from Canada. We now have air quality meters STANDARD on weather forecasts. The new normal.

Terrifying. Ferocious thunderstorms with hail. Weezie is beside herself. There was a lull, thank goodness and I managed to get her out for a quick pee, and then dinner.
Same violent weather here all day. But both of my dogs have hearing loss so they have been relaxing through it all along with me.

I won't snow blow the driveway until tomorrow, It's still snowing and about 10 miles from me they got 27". I lucked out with 9" so far, but very heavy.

I was there at the end of summer almost two years ago... it was unbelievably low.

I see they're releasing water from your nearby lake that was nearly empty the last few years.
It's nice they got the spillways fixed after spending a whole lot of money on them.
That emergency spillway is an impressive structure that shouldn't undermine the dam where it almost did a couple of of years back...
They are anticipating it to fill back up to full capacity this season.

Is there anywhere to see good before/after shots of Lake O? I'll bet the houseboat crowd is giddy in anticipation (and the marinas too).
