Thatâs the usual position that Democrats find themselves in, right? Obama had to fix the financial devastation left by his predecessor. Biden is having to do the same. Itâs a pattern.

I don't see how democratic leadership has provided any solutions. Maybe at best they stopped the slide. Certainly haven't done much to bring the country together.
And thank goodness for the two democrats who actually seem to have enough marbles to stop the runaway, partisan nonsense.
Didn't Manchin's approval rating shoot up? Does that mean anything?
We need more folks on both sides willing to remove themselves from the tyranny of their own parties, for the good of the country.

Thereâs no way to speak for the others, but it seems to me that itâs more grown up to review actual facts like: did he appoint one or more of his children to White House staff?
Did he meet with our enemies in Russia and North Korea and then speak highly of them?
Did he file for bankruptcy?
Six times?
Did he have to pay off a woman while having an affair with his then-pregnant third wife?
And, when the nationâs Capitol was under attack did he sit on his ass watching it on TV instead of acting?

See, those are factual things that can help us understand the quality of a person sitting in the Presidentâs big boy chair, not this idle âeverybody hates him; theyâre all saying it.â

Maybe. But you cant argue against Biden being incompetent.

Don't turn them out on the streets and have unsuspecting public be subjected to their violent tendencies. Fix our broken public school system to teach respect, self diligence, and the academics and stop trying to social engineer out kids. Go after dealers of hard drugs and lock them up, don't give them any bail or parole. Give more support to victims of crime and not to the suspects and perpetrators of crime.

Inflation might be part of it. As you imply, Biden is not responsible for ramping up inflation rates, and even the FED is not entirely responsible though it failed to start tightening monetary policy in early 2021 and that certainly contributed to these higher inflation rates. The pandemic is largely responsible for the higher measured rates of inflation.

The pandemic is taking a toll on political leaders in many countries. That started before inflation shot up.

The other reason for Biden's unpopularity is high fuel costs. By early 2023, inflation could easily subside to the mid- 2% range but I fully expect oil prices to remain high.

His approval ratings/re-election chances are directly linked to Inflation, fair or otherwise. By the looks of things I don't see that getting better in time to help him or the Dems. Personally if he can get a Climate bill thru I would consider his presidency a reasonably successful one. But I would also welcome a fresher face as the 2024 election gets closer.

So where are the answers?
Back to fundamentals - giving everyone the opportunity of roof, bowl of soup, and for the future, a solid education?
To the latter, where is the balance between career orientation and real knowledge/enlightenment?
Schools, those bastions of liberal communist whackjobs (tongue in cheek), appear still too focused on tests, and cramming students into career buckets of dr, lawyer, businessman, engineer.

The right way to approach this is cultural - why do people think itâs OK to loot, cheat, laze about? Who has moral authority any more to really convince people to behave like weâre in a society, instead of a winner-take-all old west? 6) the hippies
7) the gays
8) the socialists
9) the media
who are keeping them miserable, and not the rich at all.
And how will you folks fix it for all of us? Second Amendment Remedies! And the rich will sit back and watch from one of their homesâ¦

certainly, there are strong arguments as to how much better life is today because of the rich, the capital they generate, the investments they make, jobs they create...
maybe, just maybe the problem is all the above?
sure, there are the trouble makers at the extreme who flame the fires, but what about the apathetic masses in the middle?
