They are working on it, just got to enforce tighter control on what the poor people can spend their food stamps on. It is working on me, I am starving right now. Huh, imagine that, government finally doing something efficiently. So many of the obese are staying that way because of what they are buying with those food stamp.

I would be more if I exercised (you really can't lose weight just from diet) but I don't have the right equipment yet. I'm supposed to get a new "rollator" walker this week and this will allow me to go on walks... I hope it arrives.

I have eaten two pieces of chocolate (rather small See's Candies pieces) since September and nothing else. No sugar, no sweets, no pie, no cake. My blood pressure is way down and my weight is coming off at a steady rate and I feel so much better. My cancers are in total remission (no tumor found) and my sciatica is finally going away. I wouldn't be functioning at all if I hadn't changed my ways. I will pray for your continued health advances in hopes that your example will lead me towards greater health.

Coaxial wrote: It's been over four years since I started this quest but portion control and cutting out snacks are the two things that got the ball rolling...I also stopped drinking sodas and cut out HFCS as much as possible. Making up my mind to do it and then having the willpower to stick with it were awfully important as well...Once I got started and could see how much my mobility was improved it became that much more important to me. Since I really can't exercise it has taken a lot longer than it probably should have but I'm very happy with my results.
