Most of what I've seen has been coded language of support with the deciphered message: "We suck." Could be just me thinking it ain't working out. But I also don't want to give the preseason nattering nabobs any reason to say "I told you so" so I really really want Vitello to A) bench some players and condemn their behavior and A(Part B) Apologize for his own role/nonrole and B(Part A) Win some games and B(Part2) play well even if the game is lost. There've been a lot of mental errors that come from the manager (I think) assuming that big-league ballplayers don't need constant reinforcement of the basics, so they're bungling things that a good minor league team drills on often. I don't know whether the Giants do or not, but they are finding new ways to play the game and most of those are not successful.
Tony Vitello probably will have a couple of years to get things in order but... 33-47 in San Francisco â another off-field embarrassment (I hope) means he's gone.

You know... being tied going to the 9th almost felt like cheating. When they were down 5-0 after 3, I figured yesterday was the "payback" game.... but nope!
Now we need to continue helping with the Mets implosion.
The Nationals seem to have some bullpen problems...
and the hits just keep on comin'! they did it again last night

It's always something new in baseball....
The Phillies trailed all game, and then scored 3 in the top of the 8th to take a 1 run lead (first lead of the night).
Sure enough... gave up a 3 run homer in the bottom half...down 8-6.
Strike out.... strike out...and 2-2 count on Trey Turner who was 0-4 on the night and hitting 220 this year.
Single.
Then the Phillies score 8 in the inning (first 2 out 9th inning with 8 runs in the 143 years of team history). The guy who gave up the 3 run homer is the winner.
Crazy game.
Had thought about going to this game, but decided to go tomorrow. Crazy game to miss.
