That said, thinking about Putin and Xi watching, especially Xi, if Taiwan was ever at risk, it certainly is now. There will never be a better time for XI to act. Biden would roll over and let Taiwan go the same as Obama let Putin take Crimea. Putin has got to be thinking that Ukraine will never be easier to finish off while Joe is still in charge. He can go all in and overwhelm Ukraine regardless to any losses he might take along that way and either win or destroy Ukraine beyond repair which would also be a win for Putin.
This is the weakest I have ever seen the US in my short lifetime.

He's got sweet FA hardware left (which is why he went begging to North Korea) and has been trying to "overwhelm Ukraine regardless of any losses" for over three years now. Ukraine doesn't either, for that matter, but slowly the supplies are coming in. Now is NOT the time to force a settlement on Ukraine that it doesn't want.

Manafort and Kilimnik worked on a deal that would have had Trump let Russia take over the Donbas region of Ukraine. Trump's buddy Viktor Orban has stated more than once that Trump will provide no aid to Ukraine if he wins the White House. Biden has repeatedly committed the US to Taiwan in fact and word.
According to the Senate report, Manafort met Kilimnik twice in person while working on the Trump campaign, messaged with him electronically and shared âsensitive campaign polling dataâ with him.
Senate investigators wrote in their report that they suspected Kilimnik served as âa channel for coordinationâ on the Russian military intelligence operation to hack into Democratic emails and leak them.
The Senate intel report notes that in about a dozen interviews with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Manafort âlied consistentlyâ about âone issue in particular: his interactions with Kilimnik.â

The plan only would need a âwinkâ from the new U.S. president, Kilimnik wrote to Manafort in an email.
Manafort continued to work on the âplanâ even after he had been indicted on charges of bank fraud and conspiracy, according to the Senate report. Itâs not clear what became of the effort, if anything.
