Yes and both can be true at the same time. I don't hate anyone here, and I'm always up for a good debate. I disagree, but do not hate. Donald Trump HAS been convicted of Rape and several Felonies and Fox News has been convicted of spreading falsehoods about Voter Machines. There's no hate in stating the truth. Some people would rather shoot the messenger than admit they don't like the message.

Here's another - quite amusing view on the 'banana republic'...
Debate in nuclear-armed former colony fails to reassure global community

The televised face-off between the leading candidates for US president amplified widespread concerns over the state of democracy in the troubled North American nation.

Held in the relatively stable northeastern state of Pennsylvania on the eve of the 23rd anniversary of the country’s worst terrorist attack, the debate was a chance to showcase the democratic progress the country had made since the violent, shambolic elections and attempted coup nearly four years ago.

The second and third links you provide seem to be related to the same case.

Apparently you're not troubled, Kurt, by Fox's prolonged broadcasting of complete lies about the 2020 election. As you've pointed out, other news networks have had their own failings but the scope, duration and depth and Fox's lies about the 2020 election, esp. the Dominion and Smartmatic machines should stagger you.

But you seem to believe that everyone's lying, so you'll believe the liars who best cater to your fears and needs.

Don't let Fluffy outside, Kurt!

Harris should not reduce herself to speak on a far right, journalistic credibility lacking, disinformation media that provokes violence.

“Smartmatic plans to pursue Fox’s board members as well to determine why they allowed the company’s most valuable asset, Fox News, to spread disinformation about the 2020 election.”   Asked about the Jan. 6 insurrection during Tuesday’s presidential debate, Republican nominee Donald Trump said, “I had nothing to do with that other than they asked me to make a speech.”
This statement was contemptuous of reality.

Harris began dodging on the very first question, are you better off today than you were 4 years ago ? .  That was the hardest question she faced.  Trump was fact checked and erroneously in the process.  Harris was not.  Trump got hard core follow up questions, while Harris got none.  It is more than obvious to at least me, that Trump was dealing with openly biased and hostile moderators.

I agree that someone running for POTUS should be willing to show up anywhere and take them as they come at them.  Harris needs to show up at Fox and show us what she really has and can she actually take it.  Trump has.  It is her turn.

Yes, she dodged and avoided providing direct answers, which was annoying but entirely predictable and probably a smart strategy.  Trump, on the other hand, responded with blatant lies.  â€œHaitians are eating cats in Springfield” was the gist of his entire argument why he should be president. What an idiot.  And anyone who votes for someone like that is an idiot too.

There was no fact-checking on policy or position for either candidate.  She didn't answer questions, but Trump didn't answer a slew of questions including a direct one about how tariffs work.

Trump was "fact-checked" by moderators 3 times:  Infanticide is illegal, nobody is eating pets, and you lost the election in 2020.  Not addressing such obvious lies isn't fact-checking... it's an acknowledgment that facts and opinions are different.  "Bidenomics is killing America" is an opinion.  "You lost in 2020" is not.

You may not like them, but I think most people appreciate moderators calling out the obvious.

Gotcha. As somebody noted...the questions aren't a secret.  If any of those questions surprised either of them, they shouldn't be running for President.  It's just another distraction/conspiracy to throw on the pile. Time will tell, but I think this past week reinforced that the end for MAGA/Trump is coming.
