The frightening part tho is watching Santiago Casilla again. Talk about a bad penny. There are several other teams that I root for when the Kittys are are down, but it's been about a decade that they have been down and out so I fall back on the St Louis Cardinals. I have been a Card fan since the end of the 1968 World Series, loved Whitey's teams in the '80's and LaRussa's run was most excellent (sorry Red Dragon ) Also the Reds of the '70's and I have always kept an eye on the A's, the 3 WS wins in the '70's, and of course my favorite all time player Ricky Henderson. so the way it's going now all I can say is let's go Cards!!!

Yep, and 583 pitches total if I did my math correctly. Of course this now one of those games I will try to forget as soon as possible. And for the record I'm glad I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning anymore even during the offseason when it might be good to have something to distract me from the lack of baseball. In other news: One of the great things about this game is even old farts like me who have been addicted to it since we were little kids still get to see stuff we've never seen before on a regular basis. Already this season we've had a ball stuck to a chest protector and now this. A gust of wind caused a balk in a Pacific Coast League game

From Sportsnet: "Bolsinger will make his Blue Jays debut and he’ll become the ninth pitcher to make a start for the team this season. Toronto only used seven starters in 2016."
You know you're not having a good year when....

Love 10:00 AM games. Can't imagine being on the East coast and having your team be out west with a 10:00 PM start time, 7:00 PST. West coast is bueno during football season as well, 10:00 AM games and Thu/Sun/Mon night games done by 9:15 PM.
