This song always reminds me of 'Long Black Veil'. Not the same story, but similar shades of illicit love and murder/hanging.

This is a good song off a great album - love her voice.
This disc never got its due. Very underrated.
The problem with the drop-dead-stunningly beautiful Margo Timmons et al. is that all CJ songs sound the same: slow, sad ballads that never get out of their pit of loneliness and despair. I don't think they are capable of up-tempo or irony/parody.
