We’re moving past the point
Past perfect, past getting better
Poured out two hearts that used to rhyme
But now don’t beat together

With grace and style
We should let it surrender
Set light our pyre
And try to remember
The way this goes is the way it goes
We never started something just to let it burn

But this takes in the air like a wildfire
It takes in the air like a wildfire

We got lost, turned off
No chance to save it
When two hearts come apart
With no explaining
But is there really nothing else to talk about
Is there really nothing else

The way this goes is the way it goes
We never started something just to let it burn

But this takes in the air like a wildfire
It takes in the air like a wildfire
This takes in the air like a wildfire
It takes in the air like a wildfire

I like how they do Depeche Mode-type synths and trippy, almost funky tribal rhythms, but with such an ethereal, heavenly layer of vocals on top!

And earthworms have 5 of them.

But Octopus and friends do have some wild biology: A ring-shaped brain so that their esophagus can pass through the middle.
I thought it was another Thom Yorke's project

"But it ticks in the air like a Wi-Fi." No? Probably I've been working too hard... Posted 1 year ago by danmc Those damn ticks are thick here too, blocking out the light. Reminds me of The Dark Side of The Moon.
Chills every time this comes on! Love Zola Blood
Alt J ish...

Been kind of obsessing over this band, they are so cool!! If you like them, check out their live show "live at the stables".

Thank you for the suggestion, and I did.  I get the obsession.

The voice reminds me of the singer from Bronksi Beat .. Jimmy Somerville.  I recently listened to Smalltown Boy and boy it brought me back.

Dzien Dobry! ...Jak Sie Masz?
This is pretty ok.
I certainly would have cropped the album cover a tad less..,..

Great segue from Radiohead’s There There

This singer sounds a lot like Thom Yorke. A lot.
More accurate lyrics:

We're moving past the point, past perfect, past getting better
Pouring out two hearts that used to run, but now don't beat together
With grace and style, we should let it surrender
Set my, my part, in trying to remember

The way this goes, is the way it goes
We never started something, just to let it burn

But this takes in the air
Like a wildfire
It takes in the air
Like a wild fire

Got lost, turned out, no chance at saving
When two hearts come apart, with no explaining
But Is there really nothing else to talk about?
Is there really nothing else?

The way this goes, is the way it goes
We never started something, just to let it burn

But this takes in the air
Like a wildfire
It takes in the air
Like a wild fire

This takes in the air
Like a wildfire
It takes in the air
Like a wild, fire

No? Probably I've been working too hard...

We have tons of ticks in the air this time of year. I don't think even a wild fire would kill them.
Sumptious groove...all velvety and warm breath...
Reminds me of Zoot Woman
What a bassline!

SO MELLOW.{#Bananasplit}
Something contemporary. A nice change. Thank you. It is very smooth.
Album cover, Japanese golden fixing for broken ceramics( Kintsugi) ?
This track is getting better with every listen! Some of the chords remind me of Enjoy The Silence
I know other people like electronic stuff. Personally, I just want to change the channel. This one is not as bad as some.
So is name from Zola Budd? Great young barefoot South African middle distance runner from 1980's. Wikepedia doesn't mention name origin.
The right music for this moment
Nice track, sounds much like a remix of Radiohead's style. Still enjoyed every second
it's getting a seven from these old ears, by way of dac and headphones.
It’s late spring in Maine, and there are definitely ticks in the air. Not to mention black flies.
Love this new track from Zola Blood, electronic chord heaven!
Thanks RP for turning me on to this group!

Head's a noddin'
Like the 80's  synth feel.
Love this band. Their "old" stuff is great and I'm happy to hear some new songs!
Great band.  I'm glad there's still music to be made...
