I'm raising my score from 7 to 8 for this song! But now something else. Am I the only one who also misses artists and bands that are not played here, although they would fit into the program? To name a few: Rory Gallagher, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, The Divine Comedy (only Mutual Friend has been played so far), St. Paul and The Broken Bones and a new Band from England called Porridge Radio. I have already asked for music requests by email but nothing happened!?

Looks like he's heading home following a couple beers with the boys from the Steamfitters Local after a long day at the 12th Street Roundhouse keeping a well worn fleet of aging locomotives available for the war effort.
The intro to this song is lifted straight from Alexi Murdoch's "Orange Sky," another song introduced to me by RP. I suppose I shouldn't be too critical; you can't expect these fedora-wearing, boot-shod, can't-play-a-guitar-without-a-capo type of musicians to know many chords.

It's a I - V chord progression (or vamp) - used in thousands of intros. Pretty basic stuff, for hundreds of years.

"Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
Wait Mister PostmanPlease Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a parcel in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from Gregory Alan Isakov"
I heard him on RP and then saw he was coming to my area so I bought some tickets for the wife and I. We enjoyed the opening act then he came out and his voice just projected so loud and forceful. It really just blew us away. He's is my wife's favorite. We flew up to Portland Oredgon and saw him there as well. Excellent, it you have a chance see him live.
Favorite, ditto. We drove 2 days to see him in Portland with the symphony. The crowd was hooting and hollering in delight. It tickles me thinking how unique that must'v been for the symphony to experience.
I think this might be a little bit difficult right now. But at some point 2022 will come!)

Top three venues, WORLDWIDE
RP fanbase going strong :)
He's an interesting guy - seems quite self-propelled. Both he and the leader of Cloud Cult are farmers as well as musicians.
Ditto! Love GAI
