Leave the body, leave the mind
Leave the body, leave the mind
Every promise, every place behind

I just happen to feel so alone
For today for all days to come
I just wanna be, wanna be gone
I just wanna be, wanna be gone

Leave the quiet, leave the night
Leave the quiet, leave the night
Broken feelings of dreams out of sight

Pictures in your head at night
For tonight, for all nights to come
Erased for good and always gone
Erased for good and always gone

Leave the city, leave the cold
Leave the city, leave the cold
Young people far too old

Let me cross a very fine line
For today, for a lifetime
For today, for a lifetime

Leave the body, leave the mind
Let me leave the body, leave the mind
Every promise, every place behind

I just happen to feel so alone
For today, for all days to come
For today, for all days to come
I just wanna be, wanna be gone

Stellar.  Just stellar.
RP introduced me to Anna Ternheim and I am forever grateful. Such a talent.
Anna!
A vein of crooked perfection runs through any Anna Ternheim song.

For some reason this reminds me of Grace Slick and early Jefferson Airplane. “It’s No Secret” and that era.

Actually, the Airplane's female vocalist of that era was Signe Anderson. She quit and was replaced by Slick late in 1966.
Since first hearing her on RP I've been steadily picking up her albums. A truly gifted singer songwriter. Thanks for the introduction.
Very cool - Jefferson Airplane'ish - I thought it was Andy Warhol project for a min... only a min though

I have seen her live 3 times. She is such a talented lady.
excellent background music here in my mid-century furnishings and art gallery, bright sunny early spring morning, a joy
