Use your intuition
It's all you've got
Keys are rare
There's a dozen locks
Standing your way
So goes the gold age
To your entire life

Digging for a way
You cast a spell
Carve a path from all the things they sell
But they don't let go
Just thought you should know
Keep them away

I know what I know
Would not fill a thimble
So let your mind go (let my mind go)
Straight down the runway
Does one want to
Get more used to?
The mall and misery (the mall and the misery)
The debt mounts it costs to be alive

Oh she lies half burning
From the biting cold
You're falling a lamb
What you've never been told
There's a real world
Somewhere a good girl
Lives and breathes

Part of her opened the callow mind
Audio has stolen the morning tide
There's a dark time
This is your dark life
Feel your heart

I know what I know
Would not fill a thimble
So let your mind go (let my mind go)
Straight down the runway
Does one want to
Get more used to?
The mall and misery (the mall and the misery)
The debt mounts it costs to be alive

I know somebody that got dyslexic & thought the band's name was: "Broken Balls"!  ...still trying to get that one out of my mind!
I'd love to see a band (out of Newfoundland, perhaps) called "Busted Nets"

I always hear this line as "Deadmau5 accosted me", and wonder what did he do to them?
Even looking at the actual lyrics, I can't unhear it.

Isn't that called a Mondegr33n?

I played piano at a Nordstrom store back when they were cool enough to hire pianists.  It got old fast though and sometimes i would play this for a half hour because no one was really paying attention and I'm sure didn't know the song. 😅

I just "liked" this comment, then looked who wrote it.

I guess it's still my favorite song on the album.

Heard exactly the same thing
There are such amazing harmonics at work here! For me, this remains one of the most enthralling songs ever, so full of atmosphere

From the looks of this article, I'm sure Deadmau5 must have gotten in a fight with them at some point. Danger Mouse vs Deadmau5? I'd pay to watch that just on the name alone. Like a couple bucks, anyway.
I loved playing this at Nordstrom every week!

Hmm, and here it is being played on Black Friday a year later.
Brian Burton and James Mercer decided to work together after meeting at the Roskilde Festival in 2004
This is a great album. Not quite at the level of After the Disco, but very good.

I'm surprised this is rating under 7; it's one of my favorites from this album.  I'm glad it gets played as much as it does.

There is lots going on in this song.

A fine example of post-prog?
Rabbit where did you put the keys
Fantastic guitar harmonics ringing and pinging on this one; hits so well after U2's Surrender mines the same blissful sonic plumb-lines!

The jangly guitar reminds me of Gang of Four.
