Desert
reclaims the land,
and we return full in colour.
Dark Sea
don't bother me,
when water turns into land.

Oh our end
has come at last,
and we return full in colour.
Oh I see
I see the fires ahead,
but in my mind
it's turning cold.

The Sun
will freeze
and our fate don't bother me.
The rise
of the sea
does not concern me when
all of your city lights
turn you brightest day
into sleepless night.
But it's not me,
No, it's not me.

The Sun
will freeze,
and our fate don't bother me.
The rise
of the sea,
does not concern me when
all of your city lights
turn your brightest day
into sleepless night.
and the rising and all,
you are now watching out.
But it's not me,
No it's not me.
It's not me, It's not me.

Thanks, Bill
One of the best albums of the last decade - period. Massively layered. Ponderous. Evocative.
Discovered here. Played ONLY here. Viva RP!
dead can Dance

Sweet. Oh, not dessert. Still sweet.
That non-music intro tricked me--sounded like the intro to Dire Straits' "Brothers in Arms."
Music without lyrics sounds like a movie soundtrack.
Intriguing...rather slow and ponderous but at the same time it has a definite edge to it.  There's also a lot more going on behind the subdued vocals that will need more listening to discern and appreciate.  Thanks RP for something I'd likely never be exposed to otherwise!

Au contraire, the album is excellent. Keep playing it Bill, don't listen to the haters.
I like this — nice for background music, since I'm still at work....  I would like to hear more from these guys.
snooze fest ...
OK, this album is over played here. And it's not very good.
Kinda boring.

Yes, the druming does remind me of early Floyd. I like it.
Doesn't anyone write songs anymore? Without all the atmosphere and percussive acrobatics in this song, what's left?
