I have always appreciated Cohen's music but I do agree that he seems to get more air play on RP than i would think is warranted. This song is not his best. It goes on much too long.

I love listening to his voice and music but they are somehow more poetic than musical - aside from the lyrics. The music itself is poetic. If that makes sense.

Oh, I don't know about that. It is just that he has developed a certain style in music, which sometimes seems out of date a little bit. But then again, when you see hin at one of his concerts, you can not possible retract from the magic of his sound. And he always has two smoking hot background singer ladys on stage, which, with their sound and apperance, make up for the somehow aged voice of mister Cohen.
