The "taketa-tiketa" style of mouth music is mildly irritating, depending on context, and Paul Simon is seriously irritating, so that's a 2 from the Nottingham jury and a mute. Soz. To some, Paul Simon pays homage to the 'world' styles he uses, to others he expropriates them, and I fall into the latter camp. Compare and contrast with Peter Gabriel, who is self-effacing and plainly has deep respect for the 'world' musicians he works with.
