Thin light escapes
We run fast and we wait
All the time we wait, all the days we played

Somewhere there's a Sunday in the fall,
Where you love is safe and warm,
Where everything was right
But I'm never goin' home

Midnight is long
The life I knew is gone
There is nothing that I've ever seen
Darker than it's ever been

Somewhere there's a Sunday in the fall,
Where you love is safe and warm,
Where everything was right
But I'm never goin' home

The Sun is gone
The lights have gone to sleep
I never knew the dark would be so deep
Somewhere you are warm
But I'm never goin' home

Somewhere there's a Sunday in the fall,
Where you love is safe and warm,
Where everything was right
But I'm never goin' home

I came to the website to see if I correctly recognized Moby singing backup on this one.  After seeing the artist... I suppose it probably is.
Odd, this is the second thread for a song which has the cover of that Dave Matthews album cover as the cover art.  I think the other was "In The Mood" by Glenn Miller, but that one had been fixed.  Has Dave Matthews hacked in to install some subliminal suggestions?
I don't care how it was done... what's important is if it's good or not. I could never hear this song again, please, there are so many great songs out there. This AINT one. Ive gone to sleep.. waiting for the next song to come along.
This was an NPR Project Song. Moby and Kelly were asked to select an image and a word and they were given 48 hours to compose and record a song. With that in mind, I think this song is an amazing exercise in creativity.

Sounds very good but I'd like it even more if Moby's voice didn't show up in the song at all.

The cover:
Wait for Me EP
It's Kelly Scarr
Is that Shirley Manson singing with Moby?  nice — like it
