On tour!!
So, if they're as exciting as a drum machine and just technicians, how was I able to recognize their sound across the room in just a few seconds?
Going to see them tonight (9/16/22) !!

I have a horrible headache, so probably even Dan Fogelberg would elicit white-jagged-shards-of-pain.

Rodrigo Y Gabriela  are definitely a force to be reckoned with! Far too much talent for only two people - they'd need an army to contain them. I hope this made sense...

Bump
Another tune by them that I love!! I never heard this before. RP introduced me to them.  Thanx RP!
Excellent!!

I can verify that. I saw them on Austin City Limits or some such thing. She was jumping almost the whole thing wearing red keds sneakers I think. Tons of energy!
I went to an outdoor concert where R & G headlined. They were scheduled to perform after intermission. It was time. People were still yakking, milling about etc. R & G came on stage and just started playing. I have never seen so many people shut up, sit down and be completely entranced.

Seems one of the penguins crapped on his shoes, something like that....At one point the director indicated it was time for me to "remove all cattle from stage", which, being a good farm boy, I thought I could handle. Sadly, the cattle were mock ups...small children dressed as cows, all from a nearby private school and they were having a good time frolicking amongst the strings, (mostly the cellos), I had to use the "prod" to get them off the stage, and sadly, there was a somewhat vocal outcry from a few mums....So glad I'm not in high school any more......

Sir please write a book I will buy 5 copies
frigging awesome! Love it!  solid 9!

Do not give a second thought as to whether you and some friends should go to see them in concert. Buy the tickets and go. Just do it.
Awesome.  More please.

So true!  They are insanely AWESOME to see live.  In my all time Top 5 for sure.  I saw them in an outdoor venue (Chateau Ste. Michelle winery) in the summertime.
Seen them live - he is great but she is sublime.
Nice segue playing them after U2. If you ever get the chance to hear R&G play in their adopted home town if Dublin, take it -- absolutely amazing.
That reminds me, how's her wrist doing?

Reminds me of a restaurant.. they had a song of Gypsy Kings playing on repeat. Constantly. Every day, all day long

When I saw them at Red Rocks she had a hand masseuse. Al Dimeola came out and played with them  it was awesome from the third row.

"Amazing playing" does not automatically equate to an enjoyable listening experience for everyone, however, I like this tune, in small doses.

I would not rate it a 1, but the music really grates on my nerves.  I don't know what it is about their material that I hear on RP, but maybe it's just too frantic for me.
Dancing banana is perfectly on tempo.{#Dancingbanana}
Must be a hint.
This song is 50% better live.

New CD recently released. It's supposed to be very different than previous ones - more world music. Hope some of it gets uploaded here.

I don't like them. Brilliant technicians - but that's all.

doubt it.  it's what makes this station different from computer generated playlists, and how you know there's a human on the other end.
