I like this song. It's quite different from his early work, stronger and better. Yeah, his voice remembers Roy Orbison but I see no problem in it. Elvis? I don't think so.
if he ever meets a nice girl his career is so over.

Wow, ya know, it occurs to me that this guy deserves some kind of award for maintaining a depressive style of songwriting for SOOO long. Unlike most artists, who eventually find love and either write great love songs or are no longer interesting (Melissa Etheridge? Elton John?) THIS guy has apparently never ever ever been dun right. He's good-looking, talented, intelligent... He shoulda hooked up with Phoebe!! (Obscure reference to his guest appearance on Friends)

And late Elvis.
This late?

His voice isn't as silky and sexy in this song as it normally it. I like the silky, sexy stuff but I like this too.
I think he's sounding better to my ears than he did with his early stuff

Unexpectedly good! Wouldn't normally expect to rate Mr Isaak with an 8 but I reckon this deserves it.

Did someone say "cheetah's town"?
I think he's channeling Roy Orbison.
Heck, Chris Isaak could sing the phone book and it would sound good...
Thanks Bill. This album has really grown on me, especially the last few tracks.
