I pretty much enjoy everything they do.  It's a rare pleasure to not have to skip filler tracks.  Good stuff and instantly identifiable style.

...i generally can't stand spoon (their vocalist sounds too close to billy joel for my nerves), but the production on this track is pretty impressive work...

Different riff, different chords; it's played at roughly the same tempo with similar phrasing.  Was it intentional?  Possibly.

Got Nuffin? Yep. . . spot on. Lazy music is fine if you can back it up, but I don't hear it here.As I was writing this, the next track came on (currently The Who - The Real Me) and I was hit with a wall of amazing talent. The contrast from Spoon was huge. Got Nuffin? In comparison I'd have to agree.

I could not say if this is poorly engineered for my ears, but I feel that the heavy and monotonous drum line is way too present to let the rest shine a little. A solid 3 for me, maybe a 4 in 10 years when I am deaf.
